Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

Did those cnuts actually complain about Rashford’s world class performance today?
Yep just see the post above from the whitnail lad. Rashford isn't even called his name. It's just all about "rag", "cnut" etc. They are way worse than RAWK who's guys didn't mention him much at least  and were more focussing on Trent's appereance. (I hoped Trent will do well when he came on tbh.)

For what it's worth I recommend to read the matchday thread around page 105...They just hated the Rashford show
Absolute wankers. I dislike their fanbase more than Liverpool's. (I prefer City winning the title in place of Liverpool though)
Their fan base is the worst. I’ve just seen a you tube clip that someone sent me of the most vile chants. They’re there singing ‘when Fergie dies we’re having a party’. They really are low. Liverpool fans to their credit displayed a banner at their match saying something like ‘get well Fergie’ (I can’t quite remember) when he had his haemorrhage.

Although Liverpool fans…well, support Liverpool- they are capable of some generosity of spirit, and their club is an actual football club. Neither of these things can be said of City.

For what it's worth every Liverpool fan I've ever known has always been sound, comically deluded at time but in general top guys and know their footy.

By contrast every City fan I've ever met has usually been ever a complete scrote or a jonny-come-lately who knows embarrassingly little about football (like the colleague who was giving out in the office about City being better than United the day after they were beaten 5-0 or something)

They’re just children. Understandably I suppose, but children none the less.

They’re an entire fan base made up of the types of teenager who leave comments under YouTube videos and spend 8 hours a day watching livestreams of other people playing video games while screaming obscenities into headsets.

They’re bitter scum. They actually hate Utd more than they love their own club. Their support is built on the bitterness and hatred for Utd. A real sad bunch of individuals.

From what I've gathered they have a fairly good number of posters well over their 30s, some over 50-60 on the Blue Moon forum. How it translates to the real fanbase I wouldn't know. What I can say though is that their forum is one of the worst I've seen.

Yeah its seems so. It's like politics - there are large segments who vote against somebody/something than support a specific idea. Same with City.

Until then they truly are a small club without any personality and identity. Without us they'd just disappear.

In Estonia, if I see a person wearing City stuff, then I have asked like why do you support this club? Like truly, please tell me, because I cannot understand.

Mostly there have been answers that Yaya Toure era was cool or Pep is amazing coach, but still it feels that they are just... passengers, not some enthusiasts about their club's everyday life.

I think a lot of them put on this United-hating facade because they're a bit of a nothing club. A "look at how passionate we are!" type of thing.

They haven't really got much else besides a handful of hollow trophies that nobody is actually that fussed about.

Imagine they'll be pissed off in the off-chance United are bought out by the Dubai Royal Family

Their whole thing is being the oil club and that's it

Bizarre that they're annoyed at him for scoring

How many English fans do they have, though? Their stadium wouldn't be half full if they had a lot of English supporters.

It's the same reason why City winning the title multiple times hurts a lot less than Liverpool winning it once. Because Liverpool matter and City are irrelevant no matter how much silverware they pick up along the way.

I think what they hate most of all is the fact that we are pretty much indifferent to them. Us shouting for them to win the title just because we don't want Liverpool to win it really fecks them up psychologically.

They look at great clubs having rivalries and desperately want to have one of their own but it hurts them to know that our rivals are Liverpool and always will be no matter how much oil money they throw at their "project".

I cheered that Rashford goal, but we're mortal enemies when those shirts change back to club football.

I hate using the word, but it’s absolutely toxic. A weird mixture of resentment, anger and entitlement with constant use of swear words

They are obsessed with what others think about them, constantly craving for validation from other teams. Also their forum is a piece of shite, so poorly coded and designed. Each thread page with only 8 posts. Are the posters there all like short-sighted elderly men?

Long way to go but it looks like Haaland has caused a regression whereby they rely on him to score and the team has suffered as a result. Pep will most likely adjust for the 2nd half of the season though and go on a run.

The main criticism seems to be Grealish and Mahrez and it does seem odd that Foden has been benched in the last 2 games. City still favourites for me, long way to go yet.

Has Alvarez had much of an opportunity yet over there? Thought he looked really good at the World Cup.

That's just lazy. Haaland scores, City loses= Haaland causes problems? Come on. It's not like other players haven't put them away too.

It’s actually a pretty accurate observation. Ronaldo scored goals for us but was clearly an issue. I guarantee you Pep will adjust the system and they will improve.

Wow, that's even lazier. "Ronaldo scored goals but was a problem, Haaland scores goals and therefore is also a problem"? Also, you are making a claim that something (Haaland) is causing something else (City losing). That is not an "observation".

If you want that idea taken seriously, you're going to have to come up with some plausible causal link that amounts to something more than a weak platitude.

Agree. This happened to us with Ronaldo. With de Bryune playing the role of Fernandes in 2021-22.

After 16 matches last year, City had 38 points, 33 goals for, 9 against. This year they have 36 points but 44-16

Yeah, because we totally also had a two-point dropoff after 16 games last season. And anyway it's always the case that if something makes you think of something else, the two are always automatically exactly the same thing. That's lojic, that is.
