Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

I don’t fully understand this football bias. Like you can dislike another team or any other team you don’t support but it doesn’t mean all logic has to fly out the window.

I know, it's like a illness or something. It's genuinely a mystery why people get on like that.

I know it’s true, finding a source right now might be difficult but it might be in one of Fergies books, maybe in one of Gills.
http://www.football365.com/news/fergie-silva-didnt-defend-enough-for-united That’s what I could find for now but there is a better one

Thanks - appreciate that. Interesting and baffling stuff.

Maybe we’ve just been spoilt by SAF & success  Imagine another 5 years of limited to no success for us? We might be RAWK or BM  :nervous:

Off topic, what’s up with your tag?

Lol I was drunk as feck one time while having a social gathering so it was quite noisy - the police were called. When they knocked on the door, as far as my GF tells me I was trying to shove boiled eggs up my arse. I've no idea why. Police had a good laugh I heard too, just told us to keep it down a bit.

Platt did say he was concerned about them making it in the premier league when City first signed them. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but Scholes won us enough so for me I’m happy with the trade off

 wow
To the “shit (pun intended) we do when we’re drunk” thread

Silva and Augero where both offered to United before City signed them. Fergie turned them both down as he said we had Scholes and another so he wouldn’t sign them. That’s well documented.

Pretty sure Silva went to whoever offered biggest transfer sum, to help out Valencia's financial woes at the time.

The stench of rags in the match thread was overpowering.... and if they weren’t rags they’re a fkn disgrace!!!

Right :wenger:

fecking hell they think way too much of themselves. Who in a right mind as a united fan go on blue moon and follow their match day thread?

Minor blip for them, they're still gonna walk the league without breaking a sweat. Their players were smiling and laughing afterwards, they genuinely didn't care did they, they know they can afford the odd meltdown like today.

There were roughly 80-100 regular posters on Bluemoon who were left-wing in their politics and level headed when it came to football, and we were all banned between 2013 and 2015 for sympathising with Palestine and occasionally praising United. This was a concerted effort by the moderators to get rid of any left-wing, slightly pro-United perspectives on the forum, and reason went out the door with us. We're on a private City forum now that's been running since 2014 and we're all having the time of our lives.

Explains why its a horrible cnut fest over there.

At some point you have to look at this logically

At the time scholes was world class
Where does Silva play?

Much the same with pique he was and never would have ever been better than vidic and rio he would never have gotten games.

I don’t see a problem with it at all.

Let's dream a little...

We get Sanchez, and somehow win all of our remaining fixtures. We'll end up at 95 points.

City collapse after being found out. All teams organise a high press following Liverpool's example. Silva keeps staying out and De Bruyne completely loses his form. With us beating them at Emptihad only 9 points differ. City record 10-2-2 in their remaining 14 games and end up at 94 points.

That would be 10 times better than what City did to us when they beat us on goal difference.

Anyone on there that says the slightest negative thing about city gets accused of being a ‘rag’.

It’s so funny because for all the ‘arrogance’ that they hated about United fans, especially under fergie’s era, how arrogant must those lot be to think they think they’re so above criticism that anyone on there that criticises them is a united fan pretending to be a blue.

Lol "That game shows why we need Sanchez".

No, that game shows why you need a goalkeeper and some real defenders you imbecile

More likely we drop points at managerless stoke

Surely they must be taking about davinson sanchez? The lad can defend for what it's worth

Has Sanchez completed his transformation into an aging, slow, has-been player for them now?

'He was a world class player.' 'He is not now.' This was the argument all Summer long, and we got precisely nowhere with it. Eventually I think we reached a consensus that his game has dipped but argued as to whether that dip was temporary or permanent. I maintain that his game is fundamentally compromised and he'll never be the player he was. I am glad for the moment that he look like he is on his way to Utd, but I know that a lot of blues are disappointed. I don't think they will appreciate the blessing in disguise argument.

:lol::lol:

Be refreshing for a player to say yeah I moved for this huge amount of money and who gives a shit about winning anything that’s just the icing on top.

The irony and hypocrisy of those Bluemoon halfwits is just baffling! Like they forget how things changed over there when the dirty oil money started rolling in???

£35m+£15m signing on + £10m agent plus £75m over 3 and a half seasons...
That's a bit arrogant.

It's clear we want him but not prepared to go as far as Utd for him.

Big chance missed by us and will improve them a lot unfortunately.

Reminds me of Hazard and RVP.

utd is with a small u, how many times do people need telling
Only hope this means we go for either Dybala or Griezmann in the summer.

From Mbappé, to Alexis, & now hopefully we’re still targeting a world-class attacker
Could be a good buy for the rags if they want to maintain second place !!
The footballing world should be worried if we`ve cooled our interest in Sanchez.

for yrs the rags have slagged us for spending huge money as we were so far behind them on the field, need i go on..... fill your boots if they do just that
United are definitely showing intent in the market and will spend as much as they need to compete. I don't know whether this season has given some fans a blind sense of optimism but United are a huge threat to what we want to achieve and they are not going away.

They are developing a squad with some top class footballers and when they find the right system, which they inevitably will, they will push us all the way.

Not while mourinho is there.

He might be a boring and whinging fecker but he is still a top class manager

Honestly I don't mean this to be offensive but your hatred for MUFC completely blinds you of reality...

Pogba is immense when he's "on" but he was probably overpriced.
Matic was an excellent signing.
Lukaku I agree with you.
Martial is an excellent prospect and already very decent.
Valencia is a not amazing I agree.
De Dea is among the top 5 keepers in the world now.
Rashford is also a very good prospect.
Hearing medical in the morning at Etihad .Reasonable source
answer
we don`t do medicals at the Etihad

If Liverpool played as good as City are doing this season, I would have changed sports. I would have never been able to take it. I can handle this.

Footies in your DNA though . You can't just switch it off.

Anyway. I always spare a thought for Noel and their kid when when we twat them. Plastic musicians who totally ripped off The Real People from Bootle.

The old Sanchez, considering inflation, may be worth £90m today, just.

But the Sanchez now at 29, talisman to a 6th place team which he should be dragging closer to the top, scored 7 and assisted 2 so far, is not really an improvement on our existing players.
Also it’s not just £35m.

It’s £35m transfer fee, £10m agent fee, £15m signing on fee for Sanchez and £350k a week.

That’s what United have reportedly agreed to if you add up what everyone wants.
It's an absolute no brainer for united. From their perspective if there's chance to get him they absolutely should move mountains. He is an improvement on everything they've got, and it would be seen as a win for them over is and give them momentum.

Before united were in for him I had a mixed view.
Is he better than what we've got? Not sure. Maybe a different option though

Would his huge wage packet cause problems in dressing room and lead to others demanding similar?
Would he block development of younger players?

On balance since united got involved I would rather we got him. But probably not best to conduct transfer business based upon trying to not lose face to local rivals.
That is rich coming from City fans.

Lets just remember where we came from.

If it was all about football, why did Messi and Ronaldo sign a ridiculous contract with their respective clubs? Cash will always be king, footballers have no loyalty to any team but themselves. The sooner football fans realise that, the better.

If that ws the case, most of City's current best players would be elsewhere.
Pep and trophies OR money and regular starting XI
Terrible business from us, poorly negotiated and poorly executed. City are back
Not paying £35 million for a 29 year-old with six months left on his contract?

Yeah, terrible business.
Must say it's pretty tough to take, hate losing out on top players and especially when it's too direct rivals

fecking fantastic how they already know the details of an unsigned contract. Pure geniuses they are.
