Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

Does anyone know anyone in real life who posts on there? here's a conspiracy theory for you all, I'm sure it's just full of United fans trying to make City fans look like idiots.
I don't and every City fan I know or have known are level headed, nice people. That doesn't mean there aren't other City fans who are bitter nutters, though.

I've got to say I know a few people who are city fans and to be fair they are the same. None of them think city is a bigger club, none of them think that there is more city fans in Manchester than united fans, none of them think that old Trafford is a stadium full of glory hunters or day trippers and they all admit that city would be nowhere without the fortune of the mansour family takeover. They do all think city are a better team these days than united but as they have finished higher than us in the league in 4 or the last 6 seasons then I can see their argument. Don't get me wrong they all hate United but not with the level of bitterness of some of the posts that are shown on here.

That is a very weird post. He seems to be trying to convince himself more than anything. But of what I'm not entirely sure?

I do sympathise with that type of City fan though. The type who've spent most of their adult life defining their support as noble in opposition to the corporate behemoth down the road. There is/was an undoubted quiet pride in being the smaller club. The club that slummed it whilst their neighbors gorged on gold and glory. I understand that. It makes sense. The problem is, that club is dead now, and the club it's become is following the same corporate/marketing blueprint set out - hell, co-written! - by the thing they've always hated. And it went from 0-60 in 5 seconds, bypassing any reasonable middle moral ground in the process.
All of which means that there's no real way to be feircly 'old City' anymore. There's no lording it over OOTs and glory hunters anymore because they're on the fast track to the same thing (and on a lottery ticket to boot) But there's also no way they can "out big club" us either, so they're stuck in a kind of supporter identity purgatory, where both idealised versions of City undermine the other. They're no longer a noble small club, 'cos they sold out, but they're not yet a fully fledged big club, 'cos they bought in. They're the worst of both worlds. Right now at least*. And however dismissive they may be, that's still really annoying to the kind of fan who took a great and understandable deal of pride in being "not Man Utd"...

Obviously a lot more have just rolled with it humorously, of course. I know some perfectly sound City fans who're well aware they hit the jackpot and are just enjoying the ride, and hoping it eventuality normalises them. And fair fecks. But there are clearly others who find it maddening, and don't know what to do with themselves anymore. Leading to rambling weirdness like that.

* Chelsea have ridden the same hurdle with success tbf, so it can be done. But it took the iconicity of Mourinho, a European Cup, the subtle toning down of Abramovich's influence and the arrival of City themselves as a replacement big bad to do it. Right now City have "Aguerooooo!" They need a lot more.

This is a great post and it articulates something I've been trying to say for years, the hypocrisy at City is astounding in many cases and in addition to the points you've raised (and I've said this before now but it's still relevant) City only won their recent title due to us (not just because had a mini-collapse) as the owners knew primarily they could sponge off of the 'Manchester' brand that United had developed, so from a commercial perspective as a vehicle for creating a positive image for their international owners, the job was already done - United are a world-wide presence, beloved and adored on the whole. What better than to offer a blue choice in Manchester with a new stadium already built for by tax-payers. They bought City because of United, the opportunity to cash in on a new ultra-derby and poach players we would usually have bought or developed.

Really this is City in a nutshell, even the Aguero moment felt more of a feck off United thing rather than Hoorah for us moment of glory. The famous meme applies in a sense: "It's not enough that we should win, others should fail." whereas with City it's more "It's not important that we should win, United should fail."

A lot of conspiracy nuts over there this week following their FA charge of 'failing to control their players'.

Just another trumped up charge, when you look at all our charges against the players and the club anyone would think they are sending us a message

Feel a bit sorry for the FA, this was all they could come up with to distract from another Oliver shocker. They'd much prefer to ban one of our players, but none of them did anything so they've had to go with the classic "failing to control players" charge

I am surprised that they aren't looking to swap our place in the Premier with FCSCUM

Its as if the FA are saying we are fecking you over weekly and there is nothing you can do about it
Done with this sport now, WWE is less scripted than PL football these days

WTF???? And what about the tunnel incident with the scum

LOL! feck me they aren't even trying to hide it anymore. How many times this season have the rags or any other team surrounded the ref after a penalty decision yet we're getting charged for it.

They are scrapping the barrel now, feckwits

Give us the right decisions, just a thought

How about players needing to be restrained in the tunnel after a game?

They seem to be habitually referring to PGMOB by the rather childish nickname of PiGMOB too.

lol they still reckon everyone is biased against them then. Will never beat the cracker about Sky turning down the mic's at the Emptihad though to make it sound like a bad atmosphere. That one will live with me forever, for that im thankful

Sterling, Delph and Stones were far and away our best players last week
All dropped
2 dropped from the squad completely

No injuries apparently,

What the actual feck. Even in terms of fairness for the squad, you can play shite (clichy for the past 7 weeks), and you start.

Literally not even close to what I think the team should be but hey ho

Just don't get it... Bravo starts. Can't save any shots .. Delph not even in squad after playing well.... Sterling 2 assist last game doesn't start...

What is Peps problem? Just accept that the Bravo transfer didn't work out and lets move on with Willy in goal till the end of the season ffs

Any save is a great save for Bravo even the ones straight at him. Kompany will be huge for us today.

Been quiet in here for a while, they stopped complaining, or our scouts been busy complaining on our draws, or how to best make their tea?

An actual, sensible, rational and coherent post on bluemoon!

Yes it will, up till now they've had a better season than us as they've actually won something.
The derby game will be tough, the rags are nowhere near as bad as some on here like to think.

Like they all thought Monaco was one of the easier draws they could've had.

Some real gems in there.

Manchester United expected to announce their new official communications partner as The North Korean State Press Agency before the upcoming Manchester Derby.

So my ideal week for the rags unfolds something like this.

20/4 - united get knocked out by Anderlecht. Mourinho reveals he's not worried because the top 4 is in their hands now.

23/4 - Fail to win at Burnley. Hardly a surprise as they've got one of the best home records in the league. Mourinho reassures their fans, don't worry they could still be 4th if they win the derby.

27/4 - Lose the derby, and subsequently all hope of CL qualification. Would be 7th by this point I believe.

Now is that too much to ask?

All of the above, plus Peg goes into complete meltdown and thumps the linesman. Nose, A&E, Rojo and a few others follow suit and start physically attacking opposition players, and the FA (to everybody's shock) actually decide to punish the vermin for not controlling their players. There follows a deduction of points and the biggest fine ever given out to any team anywhere in the universe. There is then a body formed to analyse all the rags' past successes, which then uncovers proof of years and years of corruption and 'brown envelope' payments to officials and refs, then Pisscan, Gill, Ticket Tout and the rest are given long custodial sentences and all the trophies the club have accumulated since their inception are declared null and void.

And I die with the biggest fecking smile on my face you'll ever see on a corpse.

You would have thought it would be seeing City win the European Cup, but no, his one dying wish is all about United. City fans in a nutshell. Riddled with bitterness.

Some real gems in there.
Jesus fecking Christ...that last fecking post is ridiculous.

They literally hate us more than they love themselves. The Napoleon complex they have is outstanding, in a bad way.

Someone needs to study the people at Bluemoon...literally, they are completely obsessed.

They are literally an embarrassment. The bitterness is fecking astonishing. There was an article today or last night about Pep wanting to improve the Emptihad atmosphere as he agrees with anyone who doesnt support City - it is shite. the worst in the EPL IMO.

Their fans now claim the article was purposely released at the time it was to derail their run in for top 4 etc. The editor is a "rag" and did it just in time for the derby etc etc The mind boggles with them.

They are completely and utterly PATHETIC.

Of course Bluemoon has crashed again!

Serve the Berties right. Nothing more than they deserved. I just hope we beat the feckers on Thursday.

Regressed since MP. Even worse than last season. Can't see us getting 4th either.
Absolute shiteam.
Prove that he can manage a team that's not anywhere near the dominant force in the league. He's won cups with a team already built with perhaps the finest footballer that ever lived then went to a donkey of a league with only 2 teams worth a mention. He's currently failing and badly.
Pep should probably go on a two day coke and prozzie bender, and might as well take Spanish Dave with him if he's injured.

God I hope we beat these on Thursday! The meltdown would be epic!
