Cannot wait till the feckers get knocked out that group by Juve and Sevilla
So who the feck are Stretford Rangers? Us?
For all the rags who invade this site and talk about earning their own money. If wasn't for James W Gibson and Manchester City football club you wouldn't be here today.
So please do one and stop harping on about how you earn you own money, when basically you had to live on hand outs to survive in the 1930's.
The teams they are gonna play are a lot better than Brugges, I don't expect them to progess tbh.. if they do then they'll get embarrassed big time.
Kevin Nolan is available......he would have been a better option than the PigFarmer. He would have been available more often, cheaper wages, a saving of £15million.
holy smoke they are talking like they could win the group hahahhahahahahhaha
the media are a joke and the pundits on btsport are so full of shit united have the easy group and city have the hardest group again
I would love nothing more than them finishing 4th bottom and city winning the group
Reckon United will do well to get through that group, all tough away games and not forgetting CSKA done us over last season st theirs and got a point at our place! PSV could be a handful but the only team I expect them to bet to be honest as I reckon Wolfsburg could be a tough game as well, we'd be doing United a favour taking De Bruyne away from them!
With bale, naymar and cr07 all joining this week they should piss it. Wankers.
How did Madrid win it in 2014 then? Don't think the likes of Ronaldo, Bale, Modric and Ramos all signed on free transfers.
Chelsea.
I know a few City fans like that, I avoid talking about football with them, just ends up in an argument. They're a cancerous lot. I know one City fan at work and he's literally intolerable to get into a football discussion with. Similar to the morons on Bluemoon.
As do I, Johnny come Lately's who never used to be into the game (they actually used to support Utd ) but are now dyed in the wool Blues who somehow think they are sages of the game. Disagree with them and it very quickly turns nasty and personal. No thanks.I know a few City fans like that, I avoid talking about football with them, just ends up in an argument.
Would piss myself if after spending an absolute fortune this summer they don't get through the group.

Yes this is true and a matter of history , but how different this that form what happened to them, without the mega money GIVEN to them but some oil rich Sheikh they would still be in the lower leagues scrapping round in the dirt.
They always bring that up. Maybe they should bring up the fact United holds the attendance record at Maine Road but somehow I think they don't like to mention that.Is that the best they can do, bring something up that happened 80 years ago? ffs, talk about clutching at straws.
Possibility
That rag cafe is a fukin nut job place.
There is actually some thick cnut from Zagreb with 16,500 posts who believes that united hold the highest att at main road :-)
Ah yes, bigger. Massive in fact.No mate, just bigger.
@Mali_Zeus you're famous, you made it to Bluemoon:

It's actually not true about united having the record there. , United's largest home crowd was at Maine Rd, 83,260 but City got 84,559 in a cup game there.

Hey Bluemoon, I know it hurts but it's true.
At least they didn't call me a rag, just thick cnut.
We have a saying here, who about what, Bluemon about thick cnuts.
Congrats. You should put up a thread to celebrate the milestone

Yeah, same with my dad and granddad in Munich. Both went together to Bayern and 1860 games every week. You had less people traveling to away games and many football fans supporting the local clubs, so that they could go every weekend instead of every 2nd weekend. I doubt you'll find anyone doing the same today. Why would they mention something that isn't true? At any rate, I can't see why it would bother anyone, United shared the stadium for some time as everyone knows and back then, generally, following football teams was not as tribal as it is today. My grandad, for example, would go to watch United and City depending on whoever was at home and said it was fairly common practice, people just wanted to watch football.
They're bellends aren't they. United actually owe their existence to a St Bernard called Major! They love to tell us how they helped us out, and these same fans laugh at Munich whilst not realising one of theirs was on the plane. Is that the best they can do, bring something up that happened 80 years ago? ffs, talk about clutching at straws.
United holds a Maine Road league attendance record. If you have a different data feel free to show it.Why would they mention something that isn't true? I didn't say it bothers me. I just replied to Bluemoon loons saying we owe our own very existence to City. If nothing it's nice United and City had such close relationship and fans didn't feel so bitter towards each other.

Ok, I corrected myself after. It's an interesting fact, that's all. That's true but that's not what you originally said. The record attendance for a game at Maine Road did not involve United.
It would have been nice to experience football like that, although that's not to say the modern game is without its benefits.
Yup. They like to talk about glory hunters. Is anyone really bothered about City though? They're still a joke of a club. Liverpool are our main rivals without doubt. I'm really meh about City, don't care if they win, don't care if they lose. We have more rivalry with Leeds. One thing I do find funny though is that they have become exactly what they hated for years about United.

Thanks for the patronising factoid about footy pre-92. I grew up in Manchester in the 70s and 80s,,near platt fields! Most of my friends were blues and we went to watch them both at home. I've always been meh towards them.If you grew up in the 70s, you were either a Red or a Blue & never the twain shall meet. I used to hate them with a horrible hate and it was hilarious when they were languishing in the lower leagues. I now just find them completely detestable. Football was invented before 1992 btw

Not main rivals, I compared them to the flies that bother lions. Still do haha. Going to the matches against Liverpool, Leeds there seemed to be more venom. But to be honest , there does seem to be more venom coming from City recently. Certainly more to us than the other way round, well that's how it seems to me.So surely, like me, you saw them as our main rivals? If only because pretty much everyone was either a Red or Blue, so you only really had one rival. I was dragged along to Maine Road once, what a dump and it was still empty then, as it is now. We sat in this stand (?) and there was hardly anyone around us. They actually won too, so we beat up our City supporting mate each time they scored
Red Cafe can be a good forum at times but to any lurking Rags from over there - it doesn't just start and stop at James Gibson you stupid twats. There was John Henry Davies before him who bailed you feckers out - all because he found Harry Stafford's dog. And if that's not all, there were numerous times we bailed you out too, all the way back to your Newton Heath days when you were on your fecking arse and held a bazaar to raise funds which ironically saw MCFC making a donation. More importantly, you came crying to us to lobby the football league and get Manchester Central booted out because they were getting bigger crowds than you lot and you were fecking shitting it that they'd drive you out of business. If it wasn't for us, your club wouldn't fecking exist so stick that in your poxy Bluemoon meltdown thread you ungrateful cnuts and just remember that you're forever in our debt.
As for the attendance bollocks - so what if you hold the league record at Maine Road. We hold the overall record in our ground. Unlike you lot who don't even hold the attendance record at Old Trafford - that honour goes to Wolves and Grimsby.
P.S: I'm just off to sort my digs for our game in Seville - you lurking twats should try and attend a football match sometime rather than being permanently attached to your fecking armchairs and Sky remote.....
