Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

Wonder what the excuses will be if they get an easy group?

They will probably still say it's the hard group. And if we get big hitters in our group, they will be "rolling over" for their mate Fergie/Gill/Van Gaal etc and letting us win, like when we face any side managed by Bruce, Hughes, and Allardyce...

Unhinged lunatics in tin foil hats.

They conveniently forget when we drew City and Liverpool away in succession in the FA Cup a few years back. Or Arsenal last year. Or Madrid in the Last 16 of the Champions League. You get the picture.

They are absolutely delusional over there. That forum should be shut down

Has anyone seen their agenda/media bias thread?

It's incredible, really is.

City fans in my work always talk about how the media hate them. It's odd because no one else seems to notice it except City fans. If something happens slightly controversial that the media don't mention much they will always go back to "If that was City...." They also get really annoyed because United/Liverpool/Arsenal/Chelsea are in the press more, forgetting the fact them 4 clubs are a lot more popular than City and simply sell more papers. They're desperate for any kind of attention whether it be off rival clubs or the media. They make up fake rivalries with clubs (some of them are trying to make out Liverpool are now their huge rivals as well cos of the league title race the other year and Sterling!) Suggest to a City fan you look forward to the Liverpool game more and see them as bigger rivals than City and they go in to a bizarre meltdown every single time.

They pretty much create it themselves.

The owner of their site had to tell some of them yesterday that the media was praising their performance, when half of the them were running around crying that the Sterling miss was mentioned and Carragher for mentioning their poor pre season.

Wasn't it that lot that had an interview with Daniel Taylor and he put them in their place as far as all that media agenda shite is concerned?

Yeah I think everywhere in the media reported the way the won the title with Aguero last minute goal was reported as the best end to a season ever.

Not for us though... :(

Cole's goal against Tottenham in 99 was far better than Agueros.

Just read a bit through their De Bruyne transfer thread and it's simply shocking. How can you get so angry at a club for trying to keep their best player? The abuse they throw at Wolfsburg is totally insane. You have to question the sanity of at least half the users who post in there.

I really had to stop after 5 minutes, it's just vile.

Jeusus, better they weren't moaning about the Mourinho doctor row actually making the TV news bulletins.

You're not the only one. Its an unpleasant corner of the internet, its the shell suit trousers with a whiff of shit version of a football forum. Whenever I stop by there I find myself feeling bitter just reading it and decide to leave, its like urgh I got some on me. Strange place.

Their United thread is a good laugh. So angry and bitter. I don't know how they can get so worked up.

I have not seen a worse manure team in a long time.

Really?

There's also a shed load of posts about us spending so much money, which is a bit ironic.

if we played like we did on Monday, that team of theirs tonight could not live with us. we are so far superior in every department. i use to say say that De Gay and rooney would get in our team. But being honest now, i wouldnt swap Joe for anyone, and i would rather have Dzeko than that fat twat. he's finished! i never thought i would see the day that not one rag twat would get in our starting 11!

They know it aswel and it kills them. im 31 and lived in Salford all my life. To see that plastic twats face's now is a sight to behold. ive been out tonight and had all sorts thrown at me 'empty seats' 'council house' 'plastic macs' the lot. my simple response was 'ive seen City score more goals at the swamp than you have united'

Personal favourite.

Salfordian city fans baffle me, its red central and they support stockport's biggest team

I'd be bitter if the most popular fan forum of my favorite club was an abomination. As bad as RAWK is they're better than ArseMania and Bluemoon as far as UI goes.

They are better than Bluemoon in regards to general attitude and mental health. Bluemoon is just horrible, Rawk are generally just deluded twats and fake United fans.

My favorite thing about RAwK is they think they're a pessimistic board.

Bluemoon makes RAWK look like a symposium of level headed footballing intellectuals (and that's saying something). The level of sheer, vitriolic hatred is astonishing.

20+ years of United domination, while City suffered relegations and other indignities, must've badly warped some of their supporters.

We used to say that about Abramovich.

I think there is a difference though. Roman seems to really enjoy owning the club.
The sheikhs don't care about City, they just want to get their brand across. I can imagine if they want a good few years without winning anything, they could actually give up (Not saying they will, but it's a status for them, For Roman, it's a play thing, he enjoys it, and it seems he has come to enjoy football)

And thats the reason why city got brought.

To piggy back off our name and our brand.

As for the forum, I honestly don't know, but after 15 minutes of reading, it actually annoys me. Outside of this forum, half of the members are probably decent lads, but it's as if, when they log on, they instantly have to be vile to 'fit in'.

The BobbyManc lad on here comes across well, and I actually read his views and take note of what he says. When I read them idiots on there, I just don't know what to make of it.
I know a few City fans (Or should I say Shitty? just for the sake of it), but yeah, I know some, and they are decent lads. They actually feel privileged to be where they are these days and are happy. Obviously they are happy with our dip of stature in positions etc, but they are honest and always think we will come back stronger...Basically, they are realists. On that forum, they are probably backing us to get relegated within 5 years.

It just seems that on that forum, when you sign up, you have to act like a tw...t, just to survive without being called a 'rag'

I doubt that they would sell City. They have recently invested £1bn in developing the surrounding area to the Etihad in East Manchester. It is about more than football for them. They are putting down roots in England for political and business reasons.

On what basis does Sheikh Mansour not enjoy football? He can't hate it that much since he now has a stake in four clubs across four different continents. There's been far more investment at City in to the infrastructure of the club, which will long outlast any player investment. If there is one argument that can probably be put to bed it's that the owners will get bored and walk away in a few years.

He's not wrong about Rooney though.

To be honest, it's the Jonny come latelys who seem to have more hatred. It's almost like they're trying to fit in with the hatred. To be accepted, to feel better about swapping clubs.
