Ah balls, I thought Puskas was going to last. Guessing everyone was thinking of him as the last great one who doesn't really block anyone else?

I'll go for Cristiano I suppose. I'm torn between him and someone else but he blocks less options.

Invictus and Theon must be so happy right now. Surely they didn't expect that.

I must say, though, this is an excellent draft idea, @Physiocrat. This is one criteria that really freshens up drafts after the recent ones that we had.

I know he blocks one of the best strikers in the game(along with couple of great midfielders and defenders) and that was my struggle, but he's definitely the more influential one, and to have Cruyff as 15th pick was really crazy.

Why do you do this? Why couldn't you be more sensible?! I should have known better than to think that he'd last all the way up to me...

It is. Although we've had 15 picks so far and if someone had mentioned any of them to me yesterday, I'd have said that player was a top 10 of all time!

haha, absolutely no chance mate. I don't think he'd got past even one more round. Both him and Beckenbauer block a lot of people but both players you can build a team around them.

Top 5 for me. To be fair I never thought he'd last that many rounds, but it seems that bar mazhar, us, the stain and stobz, most people went with a bit safe in their first choice.
 
Re- the draft concept: diarm came up with something a while back in the next Draft Discussion Thread, I merely changed it a bit and promoted it at the right time.

Sorry I wasn't clear there. I agree and would have Cruyff in the top 5. What I was saying is that if someone had mentioned any of the first 15 picks to me yesterday, I'd have instinctively said top 10 of all time! There's a few more left to be picked as well!

Zico was an excellent pick given the format, I thought it will come back to me tho as there were more popular picks before him, but meh.

Same for Figueroa. I'm a big fan of Zico after riding him with Theon in the last all-time draft so he'd be a first round pick for me regardless - his Flamengo/Udinese club career sealed the deal.
