Best live albums

Oasis - Familiar to millions, is quite good.

Haven't heard it in years, but I remember thinking Nirvana - From the muddy banks of the wiskah - was pretty class.

Tell you what wouldn't be on this list - the two Bowie live albums, 'David Live' and 'Stage'. For one of the greatest live performers he hasn't done too well in the 'transfer to disc' stakes. The last Ziggy concert isn't too bad, but heavy on overdubs and studio trickery.

The Springsteen '75-85. collection has some pretty good stuff on there.

I'm a huge Thin lizzy fan but live & dangerous doesn't do much for me as a "live album" as half of it was re-recorded in the studio and dubbed, so i never really consider it a live album.

It's not really a live album in the sense that its an album, but i recently got an amazing Stevie Wonder bootleg from a concert he played in 1975 in germany. It's brilliant.

I'm just hoping the Doors get a new manager sooner rather than later, then I might have a few more Doors shows to add. There are some AMAZING shows out there but the Doors management refuses to pay for tapes and offers the owner a small percentage of the royalties. How the feck do they expect people to give up tapes for such a small amount

There are some incredible shows out there.
