Kings of Leon - Because of the Times

Arctics album was great as well.


Radiohead number one though.
 
Oh, and a shout to the Cold War Kids too for Robbers and Cowards, great album and great live too, got to see them in Manc a few weeks back, excellent gig.
 
Then vs. You vs. Me by Finger Eleven was good

Daughtry's album was greater

I've enjoyed Editors, Kings of Leon and Arcade Fire's albums.

Been a pretty poor year for music overall.
 
Underworld - Oblivion with Bells is a good album too.

Alive and kicking my man, I can assure you. I went to see them a few weeks ago at the Manc Apollo and they were fecking great.
 
What's with all this love of Radiohead. They aren't that good a band. Their mellow sound is quite irritating
 
I'll try and find it 'RedNome'.

Radiohead are a very technically gifted band and the melodies are very intricate and unique. Having one of the best albums of all time which is a fact agreed upon by many a music critic would back this up?

Ironic though with all the commercial number one hits on the album, it never reached no. 1 in any significant country.

But looking over this thread, it just seems that this has not been a very good year (in commercial music at least).
