Bernardo Silva

He's basically the Ligue 1 POTY-elect at the moment, so yeah he has been great this season.

Chelsea want him don't they?

Can't see we'd have the need for him with Mata and Mkhitaryan in the squad

As he is a Mendes client and a fellow Portuguese then I'm sure if Jose wants him there is a fair chance he could get him. Never watched him play until tonight, looks a very good player.

Because he's faster, upgraded, 7 years younger version of Mata with actual ability to dribble past players?

The only thing that concerns me is he's a bit slow isn't he? He's lovely feet and can see a pass but I just find him slow sometimes and when I have watched him in France this season, I have seen the same

Greizmann will take up a wide forward position. I don't see us breaking the bank for this guy.
It worries me that we are talking about griezzman like he's already here. We have become too confident in signings all of a sudden. I miss the days of doubt and thinking Woodward is a buffoon.

Considering the costs and that you're after Griezmann, I think the first player in this Monaco team you should look at is Mendy. There's no way you get both Silva and Griezmann

Mendy looks a Premier League player for sure. I wasn't too impressed with Bakayoko though, we have been linked to him. That said, Jose does like a brick shithouse in midfield.

Mata is a great player but he doesn't offer pace and dribbling, which we need on the RW to take us up a level.

Also Mata is 28, Silva is 22, and he is only going to get better.

No but Mkhi does.

He might get better but it's far from certain. Mata didn't improve much after 23/24.

I'm probably the only thinking this, but I've seen him about 5 or 6 times and I really don't see it. What's so good about him? He has some good features but he also makes easy mistakes and doesn't contribute enough in the defence. Some think he would be a good idea to buy, but is he really a Mourinho-player? Doesn't seem to be to me, at least not at the moment. I think he has a bit more to develop and when you take the high price in to account I'm a bit more confused. Do people just rate him highly because of his offensive features? Surely the whole "package" is important when rating a player? Can someone convince of the opposite?

But then again, I'm no expert. Maybe I've had the bad luck of watching him when he's had a "normal" day...

Best fit for his style is Arsenal though... rosicky 2.0 to me

I'm so confused after all these bumps. I know I didn't have full focus on that game but I didn't think he looked very good. Not very effective in attack and could have been better defensively. Was a bit like a poor Nani game.

Been better in every other game I've seen him in.

By his standards, it was bad. I refuse to let anyone think that he isn't far better than that.

Assuming you get to watch him more regularly than CL nights, what's his best position in your opinion? He looks like an attacking midfielder to me, more than an a forward or central midfielder.

Honestly, I don't know. There is barely no drop when he is moved around but an attacking midfielder role seems more natural.
