As T2000 said, this may well go to court if Spurs are adament they never gave United the permission to talk to United. Most of you on here reckon United wouldn't have bothered to talk to Berbtov unless they were certain the deal would go through smoothly. This could be messy

The SSN Stream stopped, anyone got a another one?

Edit: Thanks kelvin, great look into the future.

you're a feckwit, not all arabs are terrorists.

I'm aware of that! :D

In fact City's most terrorist connections probably came from good ol' Thaksin - which was rather the point of dissing them about their new 'sponsor'.

However anyone with any money coming from Saudi is probably helping sponsor/advertise Wahhabi terrorism, and anyone failing to suppress Wahhabi teachings is probably doing the same.

Abu Dhabi is in the UAE not Saudi

I've just woken up from 10 hours sleep. What's all this talk of City getting RObinho and trying to hijack the berb? What's the deal, have we got the Berb?

Can someone fill me in on the days event? Plech may do it in rhyme if he wants.

If the only club that comes out of today well is City, well that doesn't make me happy.

Also, how many bids have Newcastle had rejected today, how desperate are they?

Duffen admits defeat in race to sign Campbell from Manchester United

By CI Reporter - 01/09/2008 22:16
DUFFEN CONCEDES DEFEAT IN CAMPBELL CAPTURE! It's been one of the most nerve-wracking transfer windows - not only in Hull City's history - but arguably ever. But Fraizer Campbell will NOT be arriving at Hull City...

...he is heading for Spurs! Fraizer Campbell will NOT arrive at Hull City for a record breaking £7m transfer from Manchester United, to team up with Phil Brown at the KC Stadium according City chairman Paul Duffen who appears to have accepted the England U21 star will become part of the Berbatov deal.
So much water has passed under the bridge since Campbell's mesmeric loan spell at the club catapulted the Tigers to a Wembley play-off final and ultimately Premier League status last season.
At first, the Tigers attempted to bring Campbell in to the club during the summer, then an agreement was struck that Hull City would be given first option to loan the player by Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson to take the player for the enitre season.
However, as Manchester United entered sticky negotiations with Spurs for Dimitar Berbatov - and those talks became strained - Phil Brown landed a £7m offer for Campbell at the Old Trafford door.
Now, with United finally sealing the Dimitar Berbatov transfer, Fraizer Campbell has sealed his move to Tottenham as part of the deal. But the upshot of it all is - incredibly - Fraizer Campbell is now officially going to join Tottenham Hotspur NOT Hull City.
