Well, you obviously did not read what I said properly. I also was not referring to you.

Yes the whole point is to update them on what has happened. Not to relay things the reporter has said is a possibility such as Campbell to Spurs as if they are a done deal.

Calderon HASN'T confirmed whom they're selling Robinho to yet. If it were up to the player, it'd probably be Chelsea, so it's best not to count your chickens just yet.

A guy on Sky Sports earlier was talking about the "we haven't agreed to let Berbatov speak to United comments" earlier and reckons it's to do with them being a PLC and not being able to give any real statement regarding to their finances without first announcing events to their shareholders.

If that's the case, I'm sure "No comment" would have worked a lot better, but we all know that Mr. Levy appears to be a bit of a tit, so it wouldn't be suprising.

"We have sold Robinho for reasons of human nature," Calderon told Canal Veo TV.

"The fact is that we have accepted an offer for Manchester City, and that he is not going for sporting reasons.

"I can't rule out a new signing in December, now that [without Robinho] we have a free slot. But right now there's nobody in the market that we can move for."
