On Sky Sports News they reported that Berbatov was in a medical, but the speculated rumour was that Spurs hadn't given United permission to talk to the player. Most on here believe that this is just speculation. There was video footage about 15 minutes ago showing Berbatov leaving his medical and into a black car. Sky Sports News pundits were claiming he was off to Carrington, and most of the pundits were saying that their '.....in the know...' contacts were saying it's swaying United's way and that it's almost a done deal.

How long the contract is and whether he has signed anything yet - I haven't heard. I also haven't heard whether Spurs were ok or not with United talking to Berbatov

Unfortunetly, thats big news in the media at the moment. I spoke to my brother in law, who is high up in the football media and he said, people are flapping about this news at the moment. He hopes its wrong too. He said its just been a crazy day in the office. If anything happens first, he will know about it.
