Don't worry, I will be around for some time.Yeah, great winger. Please don't leave us without providing us your pick.
Sorry for the delay lads. I'm currently in the hospital with my brother and taking care of him.

"I craved to play alongside Asparuhov. In the game between Benfica and Levski he conquered Lisbon. No other player had scored two against us at home before him. Asparuhov was the first."
- Eusebio
"When I first heard of Asparuhov's demise, I started to cry. Why would fate take away the life of such a great footballer? I could not sleep all night, I was seeing him play against Belgium in my dreams. I fell in love with the great player he was."
- Sandro Mazzola
"I loved his football, and I really liked him. In the Bulgaria-Italy game in Sofia I accidentally kicked him... I hope he had forgiven me..."
- Gianni Rivera
"I am sorry I could not play with him in the team of the world. Asparuhov was popular in Germany and had a lot of admirers. The papers used to write about him very often. His demise is an incomparable disaster for Bulgarian football."
- Gerd Muller
Glad to see Gundi get a run out @Raees
Well obviously, but I'd pick a few ahead of a similar players already picked.A lot of teams picking players to fit in their system at this point, not just the best available.
Plus certain positions have far more depth than others to the point that it will have some great unpicked players when this ends.
It'll be interesting to compile an unpicked XI later. The likes of Asparukhov are going in the 8th round!
Btw, Asparukhov is misspelled in the list. I'll edit in when I'll get to the computer in no one will sooner.
Edit: without a "k" even. Always a coin toss with this sound's transliteration
Is their "х" different from other Slavic "х"?No kh in Bulgarian mate, just h
Nice pick @Raees
Most of the teams completed their attacks rather earlier I thought which makes such excellent choices available that late.

The alphabets are pretty much the same. The 2 core differences are that the Russian alphabet has 3 letters more and the way the small and big letters are written. In the Russian alphabet they are written in the same way, compared to the Bulgarian alphabet where there is difference in writing between big and small letters. Is their "х" different from other Slavic "х"?
Aye it was surprised for me even in round 6 that he was not picked. Then seeing that most completed their attacks I've delayed it a bit and glad he lasted. From the clips I saw of Gadocha should have been picked up sooner himself
It's "хан" in Russian too. And Блохин, Хармс, бухта, схрон etc etc. - not even sure that we have a word where the "х" follows the "к". Only Khmer people (кхмеры) and Game Of Thrones Khaleesi (кхалиси) come to mind, but those are hardly of Slavic originAs a standalone "х" sounds like "х", but compared to Russian names for example there is no "кх" combinations. For example the old title "кхан" is written and spoken in Bulgarian as "хан".
