Beckham to United on Loan?

Gives us a break...that really is an insult to Giggs, Scholes & Neville

feck off it is. It would boost moral, just the fact that Beckham would be back at united for a short period would make me happy as feck. Imagine it would the players too, including Scholes, Giggs and Neville seeing as they're friends and played with each other for years.

You talk so much shit Colin, tempted to whack you on ignore as you're that much of a tosser and your posts are filled with drivvle.

I think it would be a bad idea, the man left seven years ago, the team and him have moved on. He has my respect, and everyone at United's I am sure, but that doesnt change the fact that he is needed.

No.

He's way past his best IMO. Too many people holding onto good memories I feel.

Nostalgia is good but leave it at that.

Imagine a starting line up with Giggs, Scholes and Becks in the midfield.... I'd love it...

Never gonna happen though

Well said...now please lock this thread & lets move on to something more realistic like me being poster of the year, which I've got as much chance of winning as Becks has of making an impact at United.

Mind you if the Beckham lovers vote for me, I would be persuaded to join you in the general love in...

Becks for United! :nervous:

You whore... Is there a whore of the year award? I might vote for you on that.

Gives us a break...that really is an insult to Giggs, Scholes & Neville

lolz... I'm sure Neville would find having his best mate back would be anything but insulting... and of course it'd be a boost... We HAVE Neville, Giggs and Scholes, and we're glad to have them... but if an unexpected return of the prodigal son occurs then surely that's an added bonus? He'll have something to contribute, of that I'm sure.

Not going to happen, mind.

Good idea resort to insults and put me on ignore because I happen to hold a different view to you!

If you took those rose tinted specs off and considered where we were at the time, you'd see that we lost nothing by Beckham leaving and gained £25M for a player on the decline.

He's a one trick pony, admittedly a particularly good trick, but one trick nevertheless. Where exactly do you think he would add to the team, would you seriously ask Nani to make way for him? Would you put him in the centre alongside Scholes? Carrick? Can he tackle? Can he run? Sure he can put a pass on a sixpence, but we have Scholes & Carrick for that.

Stop acting like a baby and think exactly how he would fit in and who would make way for him. Makes it a bit more difficult when you put it like that doesn't it?

There's a lot a talk on here about posters trading insults & it not being healthy. So if you haven't put me on ignore, why don't you start your next post along the lines of "I disagree with you because" instead of having a go because I happen to hold a different opinion...

You couldn't afford me...;)

I simply don't believe you really feel he is the prodigal son...

Harr... I only meant whore in terms of you offering to sell your position on a matter... not that you offer up your poop-chute for recreation to paying pricks. And you offered it for a vote, so ya... I can afford it... I haven't cast mine yet :D

lol... he certainly isn't as far as Fergie's concerned... and the comparison is of course flawed seeing as Becks never fecked off of his own volition.

But yeah, no...

This means you agree with me?

Yeah, he's not a prodigal son. The but was just me getting back to answering the question, not indicating that I was going against what I was saying right before. Pardon the ambiguity plz.

With the news that Becks has turned down a deal to return to Everton because he is a Manchester United fan, it got me thinking that I would really love for him to come back to United for one last hoorah on a short loan spell after Christmas. He could still add a little something off the bench in terms of set piece delivery, and even with his age, I think he would still do quite well in the premiership.

I think this would be a positive move for everyone involved, and Beckham deserves a swan song given his emotional attachment to the club.

fecking hell - this place gets worse
