Keep on repeating your nonsense 100 times. I´ve got more and more the impression that you are a really poor lad, unable to discuss something serious, who spends most of his sad life in this forum.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year ! <img src="graemlins/santa.gif" border="0" alt="[Santa]" /> </strong><hr></blockquote>

very constructive.

to say he was as good as veron is myopic... only a becks fan would say that.

Rubbish. You love veron more than United.

Continue to slag off Beckham. But he is our vice captain, and he will definitely return to the team, no matter you (and other Veron lovers) like it or not.

You are branding everyone who try to defend Beckham as unreasonable beckham fans. I don't know why it looks like a crime to you for me try to defending one of our players. I also don't understand why you keep knocking a player who is just come back from injury and clearly not 100% fit.

i have taken into consideration that he's come back from injury... go back and read what i've said..

yes he was poor, his passing was naff, tried to many deep passes from the halfway line, which did not work etc etc....but its unfair to criticise him due to his long lay off.

HOWEVER i have a problem with his fans whom seem to think he was as good as veron..when he quite clearly wasn't. Those comments are from his myopic followers.

iam a veron fan? nope..

ruud, scholes, keane, giggs are my favs.

I'm a fan of Giggs. But Scholes, Beckham and keano are also my favs.

However, I have absolutely no problem for people critizing Giggs, especially when he was really playing very badly. On Tuesday I think he was playing badly, didn't create anything in the whole match and far below his standard.

But in case of Beckham, he also didn't play really well, definitely far from his best. But at least there are some positives here: He worked very hard, winning couples of headers, and finally got an assist himself. Yes he has some sloppy passes, but it was just something expectable from a player just back from injury. At this moment I think what he needs is more support and give him more time to regain his fitness, but it seems what you have done is keep knocking him as poor, crap or overrated in a couple of threads. If you really think "its unfair to criticise him due to his long lay off", why not shut up and leave the lad alone?

he was poor, so should i pretend that he was anything but?

and he IS overrated....but this doesn't mean that he's not a very good player... coz he quite clearly is on his day.

Ok from now on, i'll say he's been as good as our best midfielder.....and that he's not overrated....infact he's a shade better than Zizou.

Hope that pleases his fans.

Good point, totally agree, but I think the reason Becks is coming inside more is because defenders have sussed him out i.e. they now mark him tight high up the pitch, he hasn't got the pace or skill to effectively take players on and if you close him down high up he can't put in his teasing crosses. People have been suggesting that it is perhaps SAF who has been telling Becks to move inside as if its part of his long term plan, but I think it is obvious that in Becks absence in recent weeks Fergie has played Ole as an out and out winger (no constant drifting inside) just putting in telling crosses at every attempt a la Becks '99 along the right side. Maybe it is just coincidence, but since we have played Ole here (and by this I just don't mean it is down to Ole which in a great part it is, but the fact we have a wide right player again) we have looked a much more balanced team. In the match against W Ham I think we all knew right from kick off we were going to drill them and to be honest I have not felt like that in a while- long may it continue.
