Barcelona

If Villa is available for a move, then there's no way Liverpool will get him. I expect there'll be loads of suitors for him.

As for Bale, I said it earlier I think he's a cracking player but from what I've heard they want him as a left back which isn't his best position these days.

I think he'd be alright at left back for Barca - he's not likely to be having to defend left right and centre. He could be a left footed version of Alves.

Not surprised Villa might be moving - Messi wants to play centrally and Villa's not as effective out wide.

Be interesting to see how he fared in the PL to be honest.

Exactly. i see it working out great for both parties if it does indeed go through.

regarding the villa case, he'l have a lot of suitors if he wants to leave. no doubt about that.

I think the talk about Villa not being happy to play on wing is rubbish. He had no problem in playing there for Spain for someone as out of form as Torres. I do not think he will move any time soon. May do so when he loses his first team place to Sanchez, Pedro, Cesc or someone knew they buy.

They have been talking about it on Revista la Liga (Guillame Ballague) for a while.

According to him (so could be way off) Villa expected to be play second fiddle to Messi but was promised the number 9 role. Getting frustrated that he constantly plays on the wing.

And finding the instructions that you must pass to Messi whenever he is available very frustrating.

Again, that could be a load of crap, but thats what they recon.

I find it hard to take anything Ballague says seriously these days. He has long since jettisoned his reputation to become an in-the-know whore.

Thats why I said its a massive IF. Afterall Ballague did announce that Villa had signed for Real a year before he signed for Barca and Ronaldo to Madrid a year early. Helmet.

Bale would be tremendous for them. He makes those excellent third man runs when down the side of the full back and Xavi will find him again and again with a simple ball inside and over the full back. His crossing is up there with there in the best in this league as well..it would make complete sense for Barca to get him.
