Television Banshee | Season 4 spoilers

I didn't think Banshee was anything special at all, but it kept me entertained, where as Justified put me to sleep. Maybe I'll give it another go.

Just seen this advertised on sky Atlantic, the trailer didn't look great, the only reason I'll probably watch an episode now is to see who's right between Phil and Eboue.

I've never seen that so I don't get the reference.

Is it better than the first 3 episodes of Justified? Most definitely.

What? You have to see Roadhouse, it's the Citizen Kane of bad movies. Patrick Swayze even philosophizes that "pain don't hurt".

And not, it's not remotely close to being better than the first three episodes of Justified. The main argument for Banshee is that it has nudity. But, like, this is the internet. Go look at porn or something.

Watched the first 2 eps. It hasn't done it for me yet.

I am undecided if I will continue. Tits or no tits

I have watched the first 4 episodes of Justified. It was tedious and boring, tediously boring.

Watching the first episode of the second season. Really good so far

The second episode was far better than the first, mostly because we saw more of that Amish chick  that opening scene in her bedroom was fapworthy.

Yeah that opening scene from her was great. I agree that the second episode was better, mainly because it was just action throughout.

Watching the first season at the moment on Cindawg's recommendation, so I looked for a thread. Just for the exchanges between Numbers and Eboue, it was worth a read!

Anyway, I'm enjoying it. The first few episodes were just pulpy stupidity which set the tone, then I thought the flashback episode when you saw him in prison was excellent, stand out episode for me so far. I'm at episode 8 I think, I'm quite hooked and without it being a classic, it's enjoyable easy to watch TV. I really like the music (the opening credits are great), the setting, and I like the overall very dark tone it has.

Oh, and have to agree with most of you: the Amish girl is

I've seen a few episodes of this but I'm still on the fence. If it wasn't for the Amish girl's tits I would have stopped watching after that episode where sheriff convict puts a beatdown on the MMA guy.

Think I'm just going to wait for a few more episodes of True Detective to air before starting a marathon of that, because this show hasn't really convinced me.

That is the worst scene and episode in the show, it gets better.

The tits tailed off a bit towards the end iirc. Hopefully they are back with a bang in season 2. When does it start in the UK?

Ok, good to know. If it had worse moments I definately wouldn't bother with it anymore.

I like the bad guy with the Jesus tat on his back though, he's a bit over the top but he's definately the most interesting character on the show.

I'll probably give this another go soon.

Yep the boxing episode was really shit, and even though the show requires a lot of 'suspension of disbelief', that fight scene was just ridiculous. It made no sense, the build up to it wasn't very clever, and the scene itself was a bit shit. I was a bit worried at the time but I'm glad I pushed on. A scene in a previous episode, I think, with the rave party, was crap as well I thought.

I have to say I like Kai Proctor, I think he's much more interesting than I first expected him to be. I was expecting him to be very cartoonish, which he is to a certain extent, but the actor is doing well to make him quite convincing. The incestuous undertones of his relationship with  Amish girl are quite disturbing as well. The two that I find very cartoonish though are Kai's right hand man (which was enhanced by the last scene of the boxing episode) and Rabbit, who's a bit shit.

However, I think they've done a pretty good job with the sheriff's character, especially thanks to the flashback episode which is my favourite to date.

Me and the Mrs love the feckin thing, entertaining program - what's not to like? Sex, fights, crazy story lines - something for everyone!

Just caught the first couple of episodes. There's just not enough tits to carry the shiteness of the show unfortunately, but I'm gonna give it a couple more goes.
