Well I thought you could see them. I'm sure you did get notification of an opened mail, but maybe you have to switch your mail box to that. I dont know cos its something I just dont use
Anyway they still sit there at the top of my page unopened, so I did 'nt get any notification, infraction advice or anything else he wants to call it

I stick up a post about whinging Utd fans of which there were bucketloads after your last two defeats and I get banned !
Why ?
Im not a racist, I never bang on about anything like Munich or some such equivalent nasty shit, you know, really hardcore shite that some people on here get away with. I hardly ever post in the Utd forum and am guilty of the odd gentle wup amongst a lot of the banter that goes on here, and you could argue my winding up is far less than almost any other non utd poster.
I'm pretty fking harmless really and one of the few who is actually level headed about the faults of their own club
so what the fk is this then?
I thought the days when you got banned for the hell of it were over. Whats the fking point ?

What fking advice?? Of course being banned I could nt then see any of the three messages that were in my inbox!! so I'm banned for not being able to read the so called 'advice' being given !! by who? As I still havent read them having only logged on just now. I assume you can check that I havent even opened them so how the fk would I read any adviceI dont know who they came from. I assume its from Pogue Mahone who then came up with some comment in the thread

As already mentioned, he wasn't banned for the thread, he was banned for ignoring a warning, reposting the same stuff that had been deleted minutes before, with an explanation.

Jopub - You can have no complaints. Wind-up or not, it was a stupid thread to post, and your point(s) weren't well made. Considering the forum you are posting on, and the likely reaction you would have faced, the right decision was made, thread deletion.
Along with that, you received a warning from a Moderator, almost 20 minutes had passed since you then re-posted the thread. Fair enough, you might not have checked your pm's, that's your fault though. When a thread is deleted, and you've been here long enough to know they don't just randomly disappear, then you can assume it's for a reason. From our point of view, or in this case the person who acted, they can't know that you didn't read them, and given the time lapse, safely assumed you had ignored it. Given the nature of your thread, that line of reasoning isn't too hard to believe.
What makes it worse is your reaction here, there's clear factors as to why this happened, you could have pieced it together yourself, especially after logging back in and reading the PM's, it doesn't take a genius to work out what's happened here.
Still, the lesson from this isn't that moderators hate you, and want to punish you irrespective of what you do, but that sometimes it's not wise to take the piss on a forum that won't allow it. Rivals supporters are welcomed here, we know it wouldn't be as good without them, don't fool yourself into thinking we do this for fun. But, when you come here and post such a reactionary thread, just collectively saying 'Fking Utd' 'Biggest fkin whingers' etc over and over, what the hell did you expect? A list of posters saying, yes, we are all moaners...Come off it. What a silly thread, not to mention it's incorrect given that we banned a press response prior to the game, which disputes pretty much your entire thread right there. Your thread is one big slag fest against United for various reasons, what on earth you hoped to achieve here is completely beyond me, frankly I think the reaction had that thread stayed open, would have been worse then a 2-day ban.
A bit of common sense at a number of stages could have seen this entire thing avoided.

If that's the case how many threads are there put up like that on here every day and how many posters would be banned for it if that's the criteria? Well here's the crux Hectic, I received no such warning as I've proved by showing above that the messages he sent were never opened, not then not now. There was never any 20 minutes or 18 minutes. I put up the thread, noticed a few minutes later it did not go on and made another one within 5 minutes at most, probably in fact about 3 minutes. Obviously in that time he had posted his message but by then I could'nt open them as I was banned. If he'd said 'check your mail' I would have and got the damn thing. As it was he saw and deleted the first post, sent off a message then saw the 2nd one a few minutes later and fking banned me straight away
