Bands you want to see live but haven't

Public Enemy and Spiritualized blew me away. I saw em both in a small enough venue though.

Watching a band is really about a room of 2-300 people with sweat down the walls.

Arctic Monkeys
Bob Dylan
Queens Of The Stone Age
The Strokes

------------------
Stuff I wish I could've seen:

Operation Ivy
Jimi Hendrix
Bob Dylan - 1966
The Beatles
The Clash
The Ramones
The Doors

This much is true. I saw Manchester Orchestra and Biffy Clyro (among others) at The Troubadour in LA, was an absolute blast. Best concert I've been to, thanks in part to the venue.

The Rolling Stones, narrowly missed seeing them in Dublin a few years back.

I'd also like to see Arcade Fire live.

Smaller the venue the better.

Yeah I've heard rumours of that gig. Great venue... .

Daft Punk, Sigur Ros and to a lesser extent Rolo Tomassi, Gallows, The King Blues and The Prodigy

Saw the Ramones at U2´s Longest Day gig back in 85 at Milton Keynes, all I can say is live they were absolutely fecking brilliant.

Original Guns'n'Roses I've seen Slash's snakepit at the Camden Underworld and at Donnington 95, I've seen Velvet Revolver and Axl's new Guns'n'Roses on various occasions but I'd love to see the band that recorded Appetite For destruction.

Nirvana: :(
Red Hot Chilli Peppers: Had tickets, but got rushed into hospital for an appendectomy

I'm fortunate enough to have seen pretty much every other band I've wanted to see. :)

I'm lucky enough to have seen some of my all time favourites like Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, Radiohead Michael Jackson, Blur, Springsteen but there are loads I'll never get the chance to see like;

The doors
The Kinks (I've seen Ray Davies though)
Nirvana
Jeff Buckley
The Beatles
Elvis
Johnny Cash
Robert Johnson
Marvin Gaye
Frank Sinatra
The Clash

Hopefully will someday get to see;

David Bowie
Alison Kraus
Nosaj Thing
Paul McCartney
Peral Jam
Fleet Foxes
The Roots
She & Him

The two I won't get to see despite having a chance if I just had the hindsight are New Order and Bowie.

Maybe Bowie will do Glasto after he's rumoured every single year....surely?

Best band I've ever seen live were the Beastie Boys in Reading 1998. They are geniuses. Their set had everything; hiphop, funk, jazz and rock.

Mixmaster Mike has to be seen to be believed (he was banned from entering the DMC comps he's THAT good)

Iron Maiden, Aerosmith and Guns N Roses are the only three of my real favourites that I haven't seen yet.

Im glad to say that ive seen Guns and roses and Metallica many times :D and all i can say is that they where bloody fantastic. So for the ones who havnt seen them, make it a priority. Especially Metallica. They are awesome.

I want to see CRASH TEST DUMMIES i think they still play in concerts.

Also wished i had been to a DEF LEPPARD concert

Most reliable live act I've seen. Go see them whenever you can afford it, at all cost. You will not regret it.

I wish i was at the Ritz in '88.

And Madison Square Garden, 2001, for Michael Jackson's Anniversary concert.

I saw Metallica for the first time a week before Cliff died in 86. They were never the same afterwards.

I'd go with Tom Waits.
