He apparently rescued a cat once wich melted my heart. This wont end well for him or Liverpool, how long is his contract for?
Brenton just makes me laugh, the other week he chucked him under the bus. Now, suddenly that Sturridge is injured again, he tries to big him up, even after last weekends comically inept demonstration of how to be a centre forward.I heard Brenton trot out the old "we were just happy he was getting into the positions to miss the chances" the other day
He's a good guy, by most accounts.
I don't highly rate him as a player but I do feel a bit sorry for him as a person. He's been infantalised by the press and the Internet in the name of headlines and banter and although some problems are of his own making, seems to have to keep moving clubs in search of something he's not getting. There was the racism in Italy, he didn't get on with Mancini, going back to the club he supported in Milan was a letdown, know he's gone to a club that didn't seem to want him to begin with. He seems an unhappy guy.
I'm genuinely interested in what his next move will be, as this Liverpool one surely won't work out.
You don't think Rodgers's position on him and his public comments kind of support that idea?I think breaking up with his fiancee might play a bigger part.
"know he's gone to a club that didn't seem to want him to begin with." - ffs. Only caftards believe that because they want to believe.

there's no doubting he was a bit of a panic buy though, a punt in a hope he'd come good, he probably knows that himself.

“We had attempts for other strikers that didn’t materialise for one reason or another so it left us right at the end of the window with a decision on whether just to go with what we had, when experience told us we were too light, or take a calculated risk..."
That's an exaggeration true but I think it's pretty clear he wasn't Liverpool's first choice.
I think it will be a close match. Liverpool (although struggling defensively) aren´t Levante or Granada. Real´s performance against Ludogorets wasn´t that inspiring. It will be 2-1 to Madrid in my opinion. Balotelli to score one
If Balotelli doesn't turn it around at Liverpool, I would say his elite career at the top European clubs will just about be over.
He's the new Anelka.
He's the new Anelka.
He's the new Anelka.
Anelka actually scored, and looked lively and a danger. He's the new Anelka.
