Ayden Heaven | 2024/25 Performances

Feel awful. He was so good in the first half. Looks like a top player in the making. Hopefully because he’s so young, he will recover quickly.

Don’t care how long he’s out. I just want it to be an injury that can be recovered from fully.

This kid looks the real deal.

Looks a player for sure. Hopefully a speedy recovery but very excited by the possibility of De Ligt, Yoro and Heaven in seasons to come. We suddenly looked blessed in that area with Maguire and Martinez providing experienced cover.

I've been really impressed by how he has started out here. Caught me by surprise. I'm gutted by his injury. Hopefully it isn't as bad as feared.

This was his what third game for us? Showed today more than coward Lindelof in his entire career. Shame about injury, hopefully he will be back soon.

It was the most innocuous of collisions/tackles and ends up with the poor lad looking like he's in some bad pain

He has been playing really well, always looked composed and deceptively quick. Dare I say it like a young Rio??

Playing well for us is like a death wish. Amad was very good, injured. Yoro very good, injured, Martinez showing rising form, injured. Maguire showing rising form, injured. Now Heaven. Feck this season.

It doesn't look good but it also doesn't look quite as horrific as, say, Luke Shaw's did.

Absolutely gutted for the kid either way, though. He'd made a brilliant start to his career here.
Shaw had a double leg break, he fractured both the Tibia and Fibula. Although this might be a bad injury, I don't think it's anywhere near as bad as that.

Looked really composed, great anticipation and good recovery speed. Not scared to put his body on the line either. Feel really bad for him as he was excellent. Hopefully it's not as bad as it looks and he's back sooner than feared.

Højlund just said in a post match interview that Heaven looked ok and I believe he said he was walking around

Dislocated ankle? Be back on 6 weeks.
Isn't dislocated ankle usually accompanied by some breaks in the supporting bones?

Harvey Elliot took 5 months to return I believe so I'm hopeful he's back for start of next season.

But that doesn't help us this season. With Yoro Shaw Martinez Maguire Evans and Heaven injured we're kinda screwed aren't we.

Amorim on Heaven :

"We have to evaluate during the week. He's a young kid and he doesn't know how to explain what he's feeling - it is hard for us to know.

"He's a bit calm now, but we have to assess in the week."

Genuinely not been this excited about a youngster in quite a while. He reminds me very much of Rio. Think he could be a monster.

That injury today felt absolutely gutting.

the feck is he saying in his last sentence? Either that United are expected to give an update within 3hrs as that's when this week ends OR that United are expected to give an update within the next 7 days which is obvious it will happen but such a ridiculous thing to say.

Amorim didn’t seem to be speaking like a man who thought he was seriously injured. Said it was difficult to assess as he’s young and couldn’t explain what the injury was then said how well he’s done.
Højlunds wording was something like

- Højlund: «he was walking around and looked fine, I don’t think he’ll be injured
- Reporter: «oh, OK that’s good news!»
- Højlund: «yeah well you never know, he might be fecked, you never know with injuries! But he looked OK, I think he’ll be fine»

Not verbatim ofcourse

Thought it was just our luck when he got injured as he's had a really good start. Hopefully he's back soon.

Looking forward to seeing a Yoro, De Ligt and Heaven back 3 in the future.

The first 45 minutes he was excellent. Great on the ball, showed some good recovery pace, smart reading of the game, last ditch blocks. Was raving about him at half time, then this.

Shades of Mainoo in pre-season... I really hope it's not a bad one. It seriously feels like we are cursed
