If he can shine, like TFM is doing and Pereira did last season, then he could end up in the first team plans next year which would be fantastic.

I think he's capable. A season of first team experience somewhere should do him the world of good and that league is a competitive one.

Jose should give him chances to play in cup comp but too bad we signed Lindelof instead.

I would love to see Axel start against Swansea or even Spurs next weekend. He always looks composed at CB. I don't trust Lindolof at all. We need Bailly and Rojo back but with Jones injured now i'd go with Smalling and Axel.

Ax knows the English game, he knows that you will be pressured and physically roughed up by forwards, he would have headed that damn ball clear yesterday!

He could have easily dropped him?
Rashford was an easy choice to keep in the first team or even start despite his up and down form. Plus, he knew the fans would hate him if he'd drop him. It seems to be a bigger issue for players who are not yet in the first team

Remember that pointless game for us vs Arsenal away last season, Axel went on RB because "he isnt ready for CB", kid had Sanchez in his pocket whole day. This season not even a sniff, guess if he was senior he would be ready, then again seems Lindelof is ready too, nice going.

No, Mourinho just thinks Rashford is good enough.

Let's get it right, yes Tuanzebe is a talent and yes we'd love to see him getting minutes. But the first half of an away game that the home crowd was well up for isn't the ideal situation to bring him on. Yes in hindsight, it wasn't for Lindelof either. But Lindelof does have more experience of bigger games, he's just struggling to adapt right now.

Tuanzebe making costly mistakes at his point in his career could be more costly for himself than Lindelof making mistakes for himself.

I'd like to see Tuanzebe v Swansea.

No, probably not. Mourinho knows more about these players than we do. He sees them train everyday.
It has more to do with him not trusting young players. He is a manager who usually picks experience before talent or even form

Wasting his talent just because we bought an overpriced foreign CB, way to go. Hope he can get a loan in January if we are adamant to continue playing Lindelof ahead of him.

What does the fact he's foreign have to do with it? What if we bought Michael Keane and he was struggling?

Doesn't trust young players or academy players?

Btw is he fit? For league cup 3rd round, he was injured and didn't hear anything since then.

Promoting players to the first team

That I agree with. Jose doesn't trust young players is a myth but his weakness is promoting young players from academy to First team.

Such a shame as Tuanzebe looked more accomplished player than Lindelof.

I'd like to see Axel start alongside Lindelof, if he outperforms (which I think he will) then Jose has very little choice but play the kid in future matches instead.

Bailly is well above 20 with plenty of first team experience in another team, unlike Tuanzebe, Pereira or TFM

But both are more experienced than Bailly, Bailly was inexperienced in EPL and jumped nearly straight in, plus he was 21 or 22 when he joined us. So basically the 'experience before age/form' is not true.

TFM wanted to go on loan, ditto Pereira who was even asked to stay but he refused, which will probably be his ending here.

Wanting them to stay means feck all. He wanted RLC to stay at Chelsea then didn't play him, same thing with TFM last year. It isn't about young players but youth players with no first team experience. He will never give them that experience.

Tuanzebe should at least take Lindelof's place in the Carabao.

There's a lot of romanticism about our youth but I genuinely think Tuanzebe is ready for cup games.

Tuanzebe is IMO the biggest talent from the academy that has come through; far better than Periera or TFM.

When he played last season, he looked like he had been there for years. He has composure levels above every other academy prospect.
