53,228 went to the MCG last night in the most terrible of conditions. It was raining non-stop for the whole match and hours before the match. Atmosphere was pretty weak, but what did you expect. I would bet a lot of the crowd last night only went for the stake of saying that they were able to see the French squad.
A few chants went up of Aussie Aussie Aussie.
Next week, there will be a good atmosphere at the MCG when we play either Uruguay/Brazil/Colombia!
Game was good last night. John Aloisi's was definetly shoved by Mikael Silvestre in injury time and we should have had a penalty. Mark Viduka was quiet last night. Australia came to life in the 2nd half when Harry Kewell moved to the left-side of midfield.
Craig Moore played well which was good to see after all the injuries he has had with his knees.
Unfortunate to hear about Dugarry and a knee injury.
