10/11 expected Matic over McTominay.
Yeah I think the reasonable thing to do is to stick with this formation this season then next season when Pogba leaves we can get a DM and have a balanced midfield.Tbh I don't think formation is a long term thing. It's a reaction after getting battered by Liverpool.
Is this the "United Way"? Bargain bin Conte?
If I'd looked at the thread earlier I'd have gotten 10/11 as i didn't know about Lindelof, obviously Ole wasn't going to rotate the defence after 1 game. I knew Pogba would start but I thought it would be next to Fred or Matic as him and McTominay never play well together. Personally I'd have started Cavani over Rashford but I knew the golden boy wouldn't be left out 2 games in a row.
Will be interesting to see if he continues with this formation. Especially after all the arguments about the likes of Conte needing to spend more on players to suit his different systems, which Ole has now adopted. Ole will need to spend more on players if he wants to change system, plus the likes of Sancho will probably not have a true place in this team, so Ole has probably just wasted money on an aborted plan.
It might actually be the case that we'll be looking for a new manager that can stop us from wasting what we have under Ole.
I know it really isThis is too much pressure
Ole and Scotty will be sitting in a tree for the foreseeable future. Whatever you choose to call it, Scooby Doo is Ole's security blanket or good luck charm. No point in trying to make sense of it. I hope he comes good. Hard working, likeable kid with decent skills but I can't see him becoming the next Lampard or Gerrard like Ole seems to be convinced he is.Bailly playing and underestimating the McTominay love-in killed my 11/11.

Nah , a draw away from home in the CL group stage is always acceptable, SAF went out and played for a draw more than once.Standards really are low these days.
Yeah I think this is a needs must reaction to the Liverpool game when we were all over the place, go back to being difficult to beat for a few games then look to be more progressive. Our next league games are city, watford, Chelsea and Arsenal. I expect 532 for all of them (except maybe watford) then it’ll be back to the 4231 (or, preferably, 433).I think we'll mix up the two formations this season and then try to get in the right midfielder to go back to what the management wanted to implement this year. That's if Ole is able to hang onto the job.
Yeah those were the days when Old Trafford was a fortress. Now it's an amusement park apparently.Nah , a draw away from home in the CL group stage is always acceptable, SAF went out and played for a draw more than once.
Tough game. A draw would be a good result.
No I noticed that too. Probably bricking it cause he knows he has to get a result here and at City.Pre match interview Ole looks really deflated already - am I on my own thinking that?
I thought that. Somebody at BT must have annoyed him recently.Pre match interview Ole looks really deflated already - am I on my own thinking that?
Shiiite!Ffs, the Cafe likes the lineup

Anything can happen, just never know what we’re gonna get these days.
Yeah he was subdued.
That's rude!
Well, he certainly is not Lampard or Gerard but he actually is that type of player but we're playing him in defensive midfield.Ole and Scotty will be sitting in a tree for the foreseeable future.
