We’ve been good. A lot more organised and controlled. Fred and Matic still keep giving the ball away in that midfield. Elanga has done well.

Much better. By no means perfect, but certainly more in control of the game on and off the ball. We're still crying out for a midfielder controller i.e. Kroos, Modric, etc, but we have looked better as a unit.

Far far better, best 1st half for months. Good tempo, crisp passing and movement in possession. Great pressing when villa had the ball. First time we have controlled the majority of a half in an age.
Elanga very good as was Greenwood.

So far, it’s a pretty good display from the team, total control for first 30min then Villa inevitably started to apply pressure but we’ve dealt well with that and got a bit of control back. But of a howler by their keeper, I think we are going to need a second though to win it.

That's a good decision I'd say. I was supprised he made that though tbh. Very unlike our Bruno.

Anyway not a bad first half. We were in control the first 25' but Villa understandably stood up. It's a home game for them after all.

Elanga looks pretty good out there. Greenwood very composed but a bit meh with his finishing. Should have scored at least one. Love Cavani with his energy and running non stop.

It'll be a tough second half.

1. Shit touch by dalot that gave them a corner
2. Ref wrongly awarded them another corner immediately after
3. Ref again wrongly gave them a free kick immediately after
4. Fred cheaply giving the ball away
