Get in, good performance from everyone this week with a few stand-out performances from Welbeck and Valencia especially. Feels good to get a win in the league again. Bring on Stoke.

Good game, and for once an easy win. That first half was great. The game did sort of die off towards the end, but kind of expected that. Was nice to see zaha get some minutes, though he didn't really do anything. Good to see fletcher back as well, experienced/composed head in midfield really showed even if he was a bit of the the pace a little as expected after how much football he has missed.

Important 3 points and good football played today. Villa aren't the greatest side but hopefully his gives us confidence. Excellent play down the right with Rafael and Valencia.

It's bloody hysterical in here.

Over the moon to see Fletcher and Fabio on the bench. Hopefully both can get some minutes depending on how things are going.

Also glad Moyes hasn't written Cleverley and Welbeck off like the rest of you.

your posting at the beginning of the match day thread deserves a well done for keeping the faith.

Forgot that post, but the reaction was almost as if Moyes had selected Bebe and recalled Phil Neville out of retirement. We can be a bit too quick to write people off on the Caf.
Love seeing Cleverley and Welbeck have that kind of impact on a win/good performance and totally buzzing about Fletcher's return.
Hopefully Fabio can get some minutes and put in a good performance in midweek now :)

Thought we played well yesterday - certainly an improvement on our previous displays. Defensively we were solid and we looked much sharper in attack. First time in a while where we had players finding space and offering themselves as an option in advanced positions. The overall pace and tempo of our play was much improved as well for me. Villa started well to be fair, but as soon as we found a foothold in the game we started to dominate, and those early goals killed the game off really. Some of the football we played in the first-half was brilliant.

Yesterday also proved how much more dangerous we are when we play three in the middle. I know he's a centre-forward by trade, but Rooney was brilliant in midfield yesterday for me. Controlled everything in central areas and gave Giggs and Cleverley a bit more freedom to get forward; the latter in particular. The celebrations after his goal were immense. Welbeck had a good game up front - great to see him in the score sheet and he was hungry for the third. Valencia threatened them out wide all game and Januzaj had a good game once again. Really good all-round team performance, no matter how good or bad Villa were. As I say, big mention to these who made the trip as well.

As people have already said, great to see Darren Fletcher back out on the field. Great example to anyone suffering with illness. His attitude is absolutely immense and I thought he played well when he came on. As I say, great to have him back.
