I'm pretty excited to be honest. I loved Assassin's Creed.

I know there are divided opinions towards the game, some loved it some hated it saying it was repetitive. But at least for us that liked it, this is pretty exciting.

Was a decent game, but got repetetive. Still fun though, and i think has loads of potential for number 2.

^ What he said. The storyline and plot were actually good but the repetitiveness (spelling?)was the major drawbacks.I hope they have taken that into account cause the game has some sick potential

hey look a tower! I should run up that and dive off!

it needs to be less linear, but the atmosphere was great.

I enjoyed it, granted it was boring in parts and repetitive. The story at least was interesting, and when your getting chased across rooftops by about 10guys that was good craic

The fighting was some of the best I've ever engaged in.

Graphically it was stunning.

The repetition was a major let down.

If they sort out the dull repetitiveness then it should be good.

Agreed. I hated it.

Looked amazing and was a great concept but the gameplay was unbearably dull and repetitive.

Mind you, if they sort that side of it out the sequel could be great. All the free-running/climbing stuff was very cool.

Simulating killing people is clearly a breach of the hippocratic oath. I'll have to report you guys I'm afraid.

Step into my office, WP....

Right this way, no there's nothing behind my back. Don't be absurd.

Oh I'm afraid your NHS doesn't have jurisdiction over me.

Your fleet is lost, and your friends on the Endor moon will not survive.

Yet another thing Harney has done wrong. Your Star Wars reference is apt, considering Harney's resemblence to Jabba the Hut...

This.

It could be brilliant if they sorted that part out.

A brilliant tech demo but as a game it was shit.

Is Jade Raymond still leading the development team? I would do nasty nasty things to her

I couldnt get past the bit at the beginning where you have to walk through the people with the pots

 I must admit that stumped me for a few minutes, I was tapping B thinking you had to follow the follow the line going round or something, felt realy stupid when I reaised you have to hold it down haha

For those who've played the first, how do you get the 'investigations' to open in memory block 3? I went to damuscus, talked to the burue, then climbed all those high buildings and synced, but none of the investigations opened up.

You have to go over to one of the other districts (if your at the poor district now for example then you need to cross over to the rich or middle class district.) Youll have to use your map for this as the high points wont show up on the radar untill youve done one in the new district

Thanks, I'll try that.

Still pretty hyped about this game. I'm going through the first one, and although I liked it a lot, I really didn't explore much. So I'm going back and getting all the flags and killing all the Templars. The design team did an outstanding job on the Kingdom and the cities. I really didn't pay attention my first time through, but I'm really enjoying it now.

Some upgrades for AC2 are the ability to swim, take the weapon from an enemy and use it, as well as wielding dual hidden blades. Here's the latest trailer for AC2.

Bought this the other day and completed it just now, brilliant ending I thought and a great improvement on the first game, finaly getting Altair's armour and sword was a great feeling

Any news on the third game? Seems as though:

its all going to be set in the present now? Will be interesting to see how that pans out, one thing I thought was a bit silly about the ending though was that they were still using swords...I mean come on, this is 2010 who uses a sword nowadays?

On another note, anyone got the DLC? Worth the download?

It's not worth downloading the DLC tbh and yeah you're right about the stupid ending.
They said the 3rd game was still gonna use Ezio and that Rome will be a playable environment.I really hope that in the 3rd when we'll be playing with Desmond in modern day era, we'll get some guns and proper ninja like swords

I'd prefer them to stick in the past. If they do a modern one it will essentially be Hitman + parkour, and as fecking awesome as the Hitman series is I'd like for AC to maintain some distinct individuality.

The second was top stuff - I lost interest and stopped playing about halfway into the first but this just kept me coming back again and again. Ideally I want 100% completion just to show what a man I am.

Also am I the only one that didn't like Altair's armour? Before that you wore your own cape/tunic hybird, I thought it was pretty cool.

you mean AC brotherhood?

dunno but it looks fookin epic
