Is it still not possible to delete accounts here? I know that was the case some years ago, just wondered it if was still the case? Cheers.

Why do you ask? Do you want your account deleted?

We don't delete but you we can ban your account if you want or, probably a better solution is to change your email address to something that doesn't exist and password to something you won't remember and then log out.

Don't delete your account or get yourself banned, mate. You might not be enjoying it atm (because of arguments or whatnot) but you could change your mind in a few days. Its not perfect but there aren't many better places on t'internet to talk about football.

That's very kind but its not an aggro thing, I just dont like leaving unused accounts around if I can help it, especially if I've posted anything vaguely identifiable. Tinfoil hat stuff.

Ok, well stick me on the list in case you ever do introduce account deletion, cheers.

I just tested the password reset @Mike Schatner and received the email. Did you check your spam folder?

Have it in safari

The thread may have provided encouragement for GladstonSpur to post. In a recent mod meeting it was decided any thread or activity where this is the case should be discouraged, forcefully, and violently if necessary.

And not all of them are closed? Can a mod reply with an answer?
We have enough City threads on the best Man Utd forum on the internet. Yes, they are good but we are still tribal. Thanks.

I upgraded my phone today and I can't sign into the forum on it. Every time I click on the log in/sign up it does nothing. Any ideas?

EDIT: All sorted.

I get it if mods are unhappy with the amount of City threads but you're showing about as much consistency about dealing with them as Man Utd are on the pitch
The thread that they closed you was exclusively about City.
As if City were the protagonist of the forum and the followers of other teams, -including United- were the guests.
Imagine a Chelsea fan opening a thread to talk about the tactics with a certain player. It is something that can be treated in the performance thread of the team.
In the other threads that you name, United is related, tactics to beat City, which coach is better, who spent better the money, etc.
I dont know, It' just an opinion

This. Discussion over.

Suppose I want to send a message to Person X, if I click on their profile name and go to start a conversation, will my message appear on the profile page of Person X? If so, how do I send a message that only myself and Person X can see?

Start a conversation is private mail

I find it rather ironic that the mods have decided to attempt to mitigate the negative comments on the caf and yet at the same time take it upon themselves to class some users, including myself as a ‘verified moaner’. Not a question, just an observation.

Also if it is that there is a genuine drive to try and reduce the negativity, perhaps we should also look to control the often over the top praise and positivity from some posters, as in my opinion this is what can cause the over the top negative comments.

Not a question but just some advice. After being incorrectly banned from the site and having no way to contact the admins/mods on the site to ask why that happened, I'd suggest making it possible to contact the admin staff on the site in the event of a ban. I had to turn to other options to get my account reinstated. I tried twitter first but didn't get a response back. Then I had to try the Discord server for Redcafe, which somehow worked despite being a dead server.
