Benzema doesn't depend on the Bale deal, he's their only true striker.
The Madrid press say Arsenal haven't made an offer for Benzema and nor has anyone else. Benzema is reportedly about to be offered a new contract (2 years to run on his old one) so that may be the source for the rumour. Certainly it would be odd if Madrid were taking bids on him this late, unless they're buying Lewandowski (or Rooney)

I can't see Benzema going, he seems like their main striker to me? Unless they're suddenly signing Suarez or Rooney as well as Bale (which is going to be a spend of about £140m).

I have very few sources. I have one guy who knows Chelsea quite well and some connections with the board at Liverpool. Annoyingly no real connection with the one club I want to know stuff about.
Di Maria is made for the Premier League, can see why we were linked so heavily with him. He's a little whippet that will run all day. Would take him here in a heartbeat.
The chances of signing both players is as good as Liverpool's chance of finishing in the top 4.

Di Maria is very unlikely in my view since we had him practically signed up for 4M euros back in the day (he realised he'd be parked in Spain without a work permit and fecked off to Benfica instead). He's also the kind of in-and-out winger than Wenger doesn't like to use.
Can't see it. Ancelotti has already complained that one no9 has left, never mind his only remaining one. Also suspect that journos have carte blanche to pluck random transfer targets out of thin air given the recent environment at the Emirates.

Benteke doesn't really fit the Arsenal mould. They don't seem to play with that kind of physical presence up front.
Hope not, Ronaldo is too good on the wings to be moved centrally.
That's how a few felt about Messi Vato would be a scary thought Ronaldo improving even more with a change centrally.
He's completely the wrong sort of player for that role.
Personally I would leave him where he is but hard to say he's not that sort of player as you give him the ball anywhere near the goals and there is a strong probability it could be a goal especially when he's central and can go either left or right.
He doesn't like playing with his back to goal though. We tried it before and it just wasn't right. Hes much more dangerous coming fom wide positions. He ghosts into the box and is generally too hard to mark out of the match.
