I don’t even think it’s as great an achievement as they make it out to be. You can draw all 38 league games and go undefeated, but also relegated.
They also lost games in the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Champions League that season.
I kind of hope City do it this season just to stop Arsenal fans like Ty going on about it.

Tbf to Wenger, there’s no shame in being beaten by Brazil.
I don’t think any of those clubs are as bad as Arsenal fans are with the invincibles. United fans don’t even mention the treble (which is a far more impressive achievement) as often.
The thing is they won the league and their football was also great on eye. They lost out in FA Cup vs us who won it eventually. Let be honest, always hard to win.
There problem is Wenger has the team stagnated as other teams move on to different level. Arsenal the past decade is incomparable to that let alone some money loaded super teams.
Feck the idea of City to go undefeated in the league for whole season. It's like the mother of all bad idea. If you want to beat other team record, do it yourself. Another team does it just make you looking worse for the sake of feeling better.
