Arse FAM TV

A bunch of idiots being live-streamed for 2+ hours every three days... it was obvious someone would eventually say something wrong.

The beginning of the end? If more follow Claude out the door (I.e Troopz, DT if any dirt comes up on them) then their numbers will surely start to dwindle...

Claude thing is weak in my opinion - inappropriate banter at worst. I found fans singing songs about Park eating dogs more offensive.

I do like that you cannot use certain terms anymore that can be perceived as derogatory and that this is not swept under carpet anymore today. I don't like that anyone who makes a mistake has to go away because of it. While by the looks of it being away from that channel can only be a good thing for Claude as he clearly has other issues, I do hope he'll get a second chance.

Is the Park song considered to be racist? Would it be racist to sing "Martial, they eat horses in your home country"?

To be fair, they initially tried to lie and cover it up. Also, no one held a gun to Robbie's head and forced him to sack Claude.

Both are offensive and shouldn't be chanted/ said.

No, because being French is not a race. It is however still an offensive song and shouldn't be sung.

People just shouldn't sing/ chant about players' nationalities/ race. Its unnecessary. I fecking hated the Adebayor song when he was playing against us. I got into so many arguments with other Spurs fans in the stands about it, reported a few, eventually stopped going to matches where I knew he'd be playing and considered stopping going to Spurs matches altogether at one point.

Anything related to culinary isn't racist. The same way if you sing "You eat tarantula in your country" to people from Thailand, they'll take no offense and will probably laugh at it.

Ah okay, didn't see that. Is it that deleted video from the previous page?

To the other point. Yes, that's his decision but clearly he saw his hand forced by what would have been coming his way. I've also no problem with him (temporarily) suspending Claude.

Sounds so weird typing this. Like it's a professional football club or something. AFTV is essentially filming raging people in a pub who have just watched their team.

Yeah it was.

 Very true

What Troopz said was racist, I understand why Claude got kicked off AFTV, But if Robbie is doing that to Claude, He has to do the same to Troopz in my opinion.
Nah, Troops is the Bruno Fernandes of that channel. They ain't dropping their big money maker unless more sponsors start dropping out.

I caught AFTV's Singapore video the other day:

Fast forward to 7 mins 50 seconds, and the pair of them are like "don't mess with a black man's food. two things you don't mess with, black man radio and black man food". This was mentioned by Robbie himself and extended by Troopz, who some say is a more valued commodity on the channel.
Sure it's not meant in a derogatory way as Claude's DVD comment but I'm just curious where one draws the line?

So ... Claude made that comment regarding Son (it was clear it was about Son and not anything else)
This was called out on Twitter.
AFTV (with Robbie?) decide to defend this with a lame excuse video
A sponsor pulls out
So AFTV / Robbie backtrack and apologise and take action against Claude.

Is that right? I mean Robbie was up for that excuse making video right? Surely he needs education too.

Troopz should be gone as well after his comment but won’t be. It’s a simple case of who makes Robbie money and Troopz brings in the most cash while Claude is expendable.

If enough people pile on then Troopz is gone too. Especially with that excuse vid, it shows whatever reasoning they have to keep him on will be fabricated bullshit.
Its been coming for a long time. I remember his tirade about Xhaka must be sucking off the manager to keep his spot.
It was only a matter of time

Hope they are doing a watch along tonight and Liverpool pump about 6 past them, sort of.

This was their defense video

Why is Robbie allowed to get away with this? He approved this video (and would have been his idea).
Why is Claude going for 'education' but not Robbie too?

Its all well and good apologising now that sponsors have pulled out (and apparently this video had ads on it too), but he clearly went to the initial video and heard it again (fair enough if you miss it on first viewing), spoke to Claude and thought this was worth doing.

I do wonder what Arsenal FC think of it all, it’s gotta be nothing but damaging to their brand.

Yeah if Robbie gets off scot free after making that, what, 14-minute video, it’s a fecking joke.

A simple "members of the channel AFTV do not represent fans of Arsenal Football Club" would be enough to wind them up I'd imagine :D

Funniest part is how they tried to gloss over it. Just dug themselves a bigger hole by trying to cover up racism which in my opinion makes them all racist, am I wrong?

I think if Claude owned up to it and apologized then it would have been fair to forgive him and move on. I guess it was always dependent on the sponsors either way. Understand Robbie wanting to protect his business.

Also, Troopz will be fine. Obviously.
