Ha, no. She just saw it listed and told me about it because I like my footballz. She thought it sounded familiar to Frank Skinner's footy show from back in t'day which she liked.

My mum's football knowledge extends to thinking George Best was gorgeous, Ronaldo being a good Catholic boy and Man United play in red. (I may not be giving her enough credit here!)

The real football fan show? it's been broadcasting for a year now.

Just seen that Robbie(?) has his own show on Channel 4 tonight. I don't know if it's new or I'm the last to know but my mum was just showing me a sec ago and I had no idea.

Started last year. Think this is 5th episode of this run.

Not a big fan of the Real Football fan show.

I do think there is space on mainstream television for a football fan based discussion programme but this isn't it. The problem is they just want to transplant the fan channels onto TV and that's not the way to do it.

Whenever you go to watch football you'll see some real characters but they won't be doing fan channels because the sort of person who'd spend 20+ hours a week talking about football tends not to be the most interesting person in the world as a rule of thumb.

Here's a question, how long until someone on AFTV ends up on I'm a Celebrity? With the growing exposure they are getting mixed with the producers always wanting atleast one person associated by football i can see DT or Robbie being approached within the next two years.

What i would give see DT in there with Allardyce (i am convinced he will be in there next time if he's not back in management), he would wind DT up non stop going on about how his sides bullied Arsenal

I mean we created far more second half vs you than we did against Arsenal.

BUT it's a stupid comparison because we were in good form before we played you and second half played some great football, whereas we're potentially in our worst form of the season right now and were awful second half against Arsenal. Probably the best possible time to play us.
