I don't even know how you stumble upon this rubbish. I follow a lot of Arsenal related accounts on twitter and instagram and they're almost invisible. You have to be actively looking to follow these idiots to know what they're up to. I'd be curious to see the percentage of oppo fans vs Arsenal fans that watch their "content".
This is almost certainly not the case, that DT video popped up on my YouTube recommendations today and I don't watch any Arsenal content at all.
Always liked DT not gonna lie watched his personal channel vlogs from time to time especially the losses he was down to earth but also prone to these entertaining outbursts with absolutely no filter. Spot on in that video too he, Troopz, Claude and Ty built that channel it was misery porn for opposition fans to laugh at while Arsenal was a meme, you can see from its views today (and at the time) its absolutely not the same with these boring personalities. For a 1.5m subscriber channel only just getting double digit views on most videos is pretty appalling.
Really not hard to believe Robbie knew about the court case either he would have wanted to keep a golden goose, can see from Claude though he is a pretty ruthless businessman when one is a liability but that's why cancel culture works so well nobody wants to look bad. DT was different too in that it wasn't out in public and they could control the narrative if he didn't get his sentence tripled.

I only stumbled upon this so called fan youtube channel by accident, back when it was still relevant and nobody including myself knew how f***ed up the owner of the channel exploited these so called fans, which were in fact seriously ill people with different idiosyncrasies (is that the right word? ) I used to watch it right after a match they lost, which quite frankly was very often under the wenger towards the end of his managerial role and during the years after. I only watched a few personas being interviewd, the bald dude, the short dude that looked old and like a child at the same time and the tatooed one. I did not care about any other of the interviewed regulars to be fair. Long story short, I stopped watching after I discovered the bald dude died. It took the spark out of all the interviews for me, there was no more controversy and shenanigans happening and it got boring and stale. I never knew about any of the dramas surrounding aftv and I could care less about what they're up to now.
When he says he "knew about it", it really depends what he knew.
I remember Lee at the time said that they'd heard he got into a fight with a bloke who he caught messing around with his missus. Plausible that DT didn't mention the abuse and stalking of the woman involved..
It's really irritating seeing Robbie get accepted at Sky and even being made the host for the new Overlap. He made his name by finding mentally ill people, sticking them in front of the camera and trolling them until they blew and he used it to go viral. Then as they start to die (Claude) or go to prison (DT), he's trying to detach from them leaving whoever is left with endless social media abuse (Ty).
I'd say it's overwhelmingly opposition fans that watch their videos. All their popular videos are when they lose. I think Goldbridge is similar. They get theatrically angry so opposition fans find it funny.

I think Robbie and his like are just milking it for all its worth. I'm sure it started out as a passion project, but once it became apparent that real money could be made they changed gears. That's why Robbie let Ty spew his nonsense on his channel for so long - that's where the views were.

They've pivoted towards a lot more content featuring fans (e-celeb talking heads) of other clubs in a talk show-type format, presumably to try to keep the non-Arsenal fans in their audience engaged now there's no viral meltdowns or toxicity to rubberneck at.
I think they're still doing okay and Robbie for one will still be making a pretty penny, but view counts on their recent videos do look a lot more modest unless it's after a big game or a big transfer 'event' like Mudrykgate

In a few interviews I've seen some of the fans have been quite objective with their assessment. Even with the win at home the fans gave credit to United for the approach and measured it as they're toughest game of the season. It's probably the younger generation where the smugness comes into contemplation. It's one thing doing it now however and another if they actually have won a title which remains to be seen.
