But yeah, 3 wins out of 3 so far, and the feel is very different to league 1 2 seasons ago where we didn't know how we'd do.

Yeah, chances are they should have done, but the outrage in the lower leagues if we'd stayed up would have been immense! After they ended the league early and we got in on points per game. Imagine then staying up on a technicality
I think it'll be more enjoyable this way, have a great season at the top end, and try and go up in style.
