More like the argentinian Mssi. Here in the middle of Garnacho and Soulé (whom I forgot about)

His birth certificate says otherwise. Unfair that you get guys like him while we're stuck with guys like Guille Franco, Matias Vuoso and Funes Mori

Why does he play? What's he supposedly good at?
For me he is a walking liability, reckles tackles and unsportsmanlike behavior. I guess he can be the necessary evil Argentina needs in the beginning and when he is close to a red he will be replaced.

What an incredible effort from Scaloni to lift them after the first game loss. Written off by so many, including here on the Caf, Argentines have so much to proud of this team. Congratulations to @IFC 1905 , @Pocho and other Argies on here

Congratulations Argentinian caftards. Enjoy the moment

They did it the hard way which must feel so much better for all Argentinians now.

Congrats to the Argentinian posters (@IFC 1905 , @Pocho etc) here, I know the reality of the life you live and I love your country, your women (or at least the missus! Just in case she reads this) and your beautiful shithousery! Thank you for giving me the best years of my life! Now I'm off to get pissed on fernet and coke!

Emi Martinez's rapid rise all started from Leno getting hurt by Maupay.
Fair play to him, taken his chance and hasn't let go

Fifa takes the trophy already tonight as Argentina is not allowed to keep it after the celebration..

Congratz Argentina and Messi, my jinx posts has worked 90% of the time this world cup

Congratulations, Argentina!!! Thirty-six years was too damn long for a nation that lives and breathes football. Always the hard way because that's the best way to win. Always by wearing your heart on your sleeve because that's the only way to play the game. The quest has finally ended and it will be written in the history books that the true successor to El Pibe de Oro was born 360 days after that summer day of 1986 in Mexico City.

What a last dance this was for the greatest player to play the game. No debate was decided today, as some will claim. These discussions are for the FIFA/FM generation and the people who only watch highlights videos. But he wasn't alone. It was a team effort, with E. Martinez, Enzo Fernandez, De Paul, Mac Allister and Alvarez carrying the flag into battle, that turned the tide game after game, big moment after big moment.

Celebrate with all your hearts. Go crazy, as the first person who deserved to witness the cup being lifted by Argentinian hands would have. You know very well that even heaven won't sleep tonight because of another left-footed magician's joyful screams: "These are my boys, these are my people"!

Give them world champion taglines mods!

Was a more pragmatic Argentina team, but they seemed determined to grind out those wins and looked like they really wanted it more than any other team.

Congratulations Argie caf fans. The travelling Argentina fans in Qatar were also amazing and on support alone they deserved the win.

All came together for them in last 18 months really. Great win in Brazil to end their trophy drought and that experience knitted them together which was important after the Saudi loss.

They've had better quality squads at world cups in last 30 years but this one knows how to dig in and get results.

I always said aswell their keeper selection has always been very average so Emi coming along was also huge for them especially in penalties.

Just look at last World cup, Caballero started the tournament and did that joke error v Croatia and Armani didn't have much presence about him either.

They will lose a huge amount of quality and experience now with Messi and Di Maria retiring so I can't see them going close to retaining it in 2026 but no one will be carrying about that one bit just now.

I doubt anyone would actually care about retaining this. This is world cup and you need incredible luck and talent to get to the finals let alone win it.

This was a life time moment surely for many Argentines. Congratulations to all of them.

Dibu is an arrogant asshole. You just can't love him enough. The presence alone makes a difference. Almost saved 2 of the Mbappe penalties too.

Best team won, but my god the Argentinian $hithousery taints everything they do.
They're amazingly good, so why the non-stop cheating?

We will see. Romero is first choice for this manager atleast and they put another CB on today that wasnt him

Pezzella is their tallest CB by far so they just put him on to defend the remaining set pieces. Think France actually got the second penalty just after he came on.
