Are we actually going to sign anybody ?

We will but it will be a scramble at the last minute again like normal.
 
70 million for Mount and then a few low ball signings of fringe players at the last minute.
 
Is there any indication the club sell will be concluded in the next 2 months? I thought it will happen in March so at the moment I am not that confident it's close. And I am certain no exciting players will be brought before the sell is done. The most exciting will be Wout Weghorst (but not exciting in a good way).
 
The vampires are trying their best to f@ck around with the club for as long as possible
 
We will sign minimum 5 new players and atleast 3 of them would go straight into first team and this would happen irrespective of whether United's Sales process is completed before the transfer window Closes or not .
 
Ofc! We always sign players during the summer window. People need to chill. Seriously.

It's more of logical conclusion than just Confidence we are definitely getting a first choice Striker , midfielder and Goalkeeper and there would be some outgoings which would necessitate atleast couple of further additions .

I repeat that, 13 transfers with three of them being bosman signings and three being for the same team.

I think the concern is other clubs seem to be busy making bids and upping negotiations to their near conclusion, whereas we seem stuck in this 'monitoring' purgatory. We also look like we're losing targets because of it - Bayern for example have pretty much swooped in to tempt Kim Min Jae to join them ahead of us.
 
I just can't belive we are going to spend big before the take over is settled, which seems to be months away considering we haven't even gotten into exclusivity yet. So im expecting panic buying at the end of the summer.

Mount and Hoijlund seem like the only players we have a clear run at with no competition.
 
I’m sure we will start our summer business once the takeover is sorted or at least on a clear track. Could be a bit last minute though.

Failing that, we could still pick up free transfers or loans.

The fact that we have been in talks in KMJ isn't enough no? If Bayern put a better offer on the table then so be it, but it's clear United have been in talks for a while, and we know that his clause doesn't kick in until July, hence no official bid.

People losing their minds because we haven't signed anyone yet is ridiculous.
The only team in the top four who have made a bid for anyone is Arsenal, and that's been soundly rejected twice and will continue to be rejected until they pay the price, which they won't.
 
It's the usual weird mixture of knowing as United we have huge appeal to players.
Yet seemingly really struggling to get anywhere near to signing the top players.
 
Baffling but only Nkunku and Macallister have been signed. Lots of clubs in the same boat. I know thats logical and not part of the narrative around UTD so I'll also say - No we wont sign anyone, we are shite at getting deals over the line, ETH must be fuming, Glazers out!!!!!
 
We’ll get Mount and a keeper done over the holiday, then a few last minute deals once the season has already started.

We will sign Mason Mount on stupid money close to pre-season. Then drag our heels on other deals till the season starts poorly and then panic and overpay for a few other players.
 
So much negativity. Still only June. But unless this Takeover is completed everything is still uncertain with transfer budgets
