Are referees being instructed by the PGMOL to make examples of Utd players?

Rawkish thread.

Funnily enough. I saw these from rawk about Mainoo, I think he commited 1 foul and got a yellow for it. Every team thinks the referees are out to get them.

Come on if an 18 year old of ours had a performance like that we’d be full of praise, United are shit but Mainoo has a lot of potential.

Only because Oliver let endless fouls go without bookings. Not saying he doesn't have talent or anything but too much as usual gets ignored by the referees.

if it was our 18 year old - he'd have been given a red card and we'd be lamenting his rashness.

There's no conspiracy, it's just bad refereeing. The speed at which he brought out the second yellow for Dalot just made me think he was desperate to have an impact on the game - I thought he actually had a very good refereeing performance until then. You also just have to look at how badly Wolves have been done over all season to know it's just a pattern of a bad framework and implementation. I don't think anyone suggest the refs are out to feck over Wolves.

The whole of VAR doesn't have clear guidelines on when to intervene, it's far too subjective and then you get inconsistent decisions and bars for intervention.

Overall it's a mess considering the one good aspect they could have introduced in semi- automated offside, they just didn't bother.

There's no conspiracy, refs have always had absolute mares and VAR just makes them look even more stupid than before.

It was always reasonable to give the ref the benefit of the doubt given they had to make their calls on the spot based on little more than gut feel. Now they just look plain incompetent.

I think it's the exact opposite, weak leadership and lack of direction is allowing inconsistencies and bias to creep into refereeing. As we were the team everybody including future referees loved to hate they all have a level of bias against us and Webb's desperation to lose the United reputation has meant he wont address it.

Read Gallaghers ref section on skysports.com.

He basically says ref was right to send Dalot off and then goes on to say the ref chose not to send donkey hole off. He's there to give an opinion just not on Liverpool decisions.

Sky have such a bias against United

I still can’t get over that City penalty against us. That exact same ‘foul’ happens on every corner and it never gets given, I’ve seen the same thing happen about 30 times since that game and there’s not even an appeal

Or maybe he should have been sent off...

These conspiracy stuff serves no purpose except giving the rivals chances to laugh at us. Imagine being crap and also believing the world is fighting you.

We used to mock Liverpool fans for less than this.

Agreed. It makes us more RAWK than RAWK themselves. Pathetic

My view.

Refereeing is inconsistent, VAR hasn't helped.

"Home" biased referring has always been an issue, however, I also think managers influence decisions.

Turkey Teeth Klopp is outspoken. Sir Alex, Jose and Arsene used to speak out. Therefore referees are conscious of giving decisions against you as they know the manager will call you out on it.

ETH needs to speak out. He needs to call out referees making shocking decisions. He may face charges, he may be banished to the stands, but until he makes a stand, we will always get the soft / questionable decisions against us.

It's not a conspiracy, it's just human nature.

No.
Our players are brainless dicks.

We have to get more yellow cards from complete stupidity than any other club.

Stupidity without limit in the last few games.
Dalot, Garnacho,Shaw.
