Television Anyone recommend me any TV Shows?

Just did a search; after 46 pages, Band Of Brothers has only been mentioned 18 times. Gotta that show props right, absolutely amazing series.

Im watching Prison break (2005-09). Plot is far fetched but its genuinely suspenseful. On season two right now and thoroughly enjoying it. Also enjoyed 'Six feet under', an HBO production from 2001-05. Great drama, and the best finale to any show ever hands down

A couple familiar faces I've spotted so far:

I can't even get away from that stupid love triangle guy from The Newsroom in this Sorkin series either.

I started watching a cartoon called Axe Cop, starring Nick Offerman, who rides a dinosaur who has machine guns for arms. It is mankind's finest achievement.
Offerman was personally behind that show getting made. A mind of a 5 year old puzzled together and drawn by an adult. There's even a Munchkin version of it.

If you like that you'll crap yourself watching Rick & Morty if you haven't already done so.

The world is full of idiots who don't understand what's important, and they'll tear us apart, Morty. But if ya stick with me, I'm gonna accomplish great things, Morty, and you're gonna be part of 'em, and together we're gonna run around, Morty. We're gonna...do all kinds of wonderful things, Morty. Just you and me, Morty. The outside world is our enemy, Morty... we're the only...friends we've got, Morty! It's just Rick and Morty. Rick and Morty and their adventures, Morty...RICK AND MORTY FOREVER AND FOREVER A HUNDRED YEARS Rick and Morty, some things. Me and Rick and Morty runnin' around and...Rick and Morty time...all day long forever...ah all a hundred days Rick and Morty forever a hundred times....OVER and over Rick and Morty adventures dot com, w w w dot at Rick and Morty dot com, w w w Rick and Morty adventures, all hundred years, every minute Rick and Morty dot com....w w w a hundred times Rick and Morty dot com.

Huge recommendation from me for the German show called "Generation War".

Amazing show. Only 3 episodes. I think its on Channel 4 as well at the moment. Its heavy enough in parts but brilliantly done.

Just rinsed True Detective in a week (1 season, 8 episodes). Great watch! Woody Harrelson and Mathew Macconoghey (spelling?). Quite a slow, patient watch, but few parts of it are fantastic, amazing character build up.

Just watched the first 2, decent watch looks like it will be good.

It's a decent watch, I felt a little let down towards the end but overall I found the personality clash and subsequent development between the two lead characters very enjoyable.

Only watched the first half of the first episode but so far it's absolutely brilliant. Great shout.

Got to mention two new shows, both comedies.

Silicon Valley. Mike Judge (Beavis & Butthead, King of the Hill, Office Space) created this show. About some nerds who get funding for a startup. Good stuff. Known faces on it are T.J. Miller and Martin Starr. It's also HBO so from that alone it's probably at least decent.

Broad City. A show on Comedy Central created/written/starring two girls that you haven't seen before. This one surprised me. I gave it a look because for a first season it had a lot of good guest actors. Not surprising since Amy Poehler is the executive producer. Hannibal Buress is a regular on it and he's hilarious but the two main girls are both funny. It's a fresh show. So far the best comedy I've seen that's predominately female. It's not anything like Girls if you're wondering about that.

Finished watching it and I thought it was excellent until the last episode and a half, the ending was not what I excepted, very disappointed. In fact very nearly turn the last EP off, I was that disappointed.
I agree about the 2 lead characters their development was very well done.

Silicon Valley? Thinking of giving it a try.

I've watched the first 3 episodes. I felt like I was watching it just to watch it, because it was easy. I didn't laugh much, if at all.

I didn't wish I wasn't watching it or think it was poor or hard to watch though like I do most comedies these days.. so that's a plus.

Average then, I'll give it a try anyway.

What should I watch first: Sopranos or Boardwalk Empire? Or another HBO show. I've seen the Wire, GOT, Rome, Deadwood, Newsroom, Trueblood, and the other recent shows.

I much prefer Sopranos but if you're watching them both I'm not sure what you should watch first.

I'd watch Sopranos first, it is absolutely brilliant but perhaps give yourself a break halfway through if you plan on binge watching it. It can feel a bit tiresome towards the end, at least it did for me.

I am watching Supernatural at the minute. I think it is pretty good if you don't take it to seriously. It does have its faults but enjoyable if you have some time to kill.
