Television Anyone recommend me any TV Shows?

Bulgarian series Devil's Throat on 4 Channel 4 (Walter Presents) is silly but enjoyable. It's a murder mystery that has twists and turns all the way through its 12 episodes. I enjoyed it.

Started Das Boot recently am into the 2nd season now.

Didn't think I would remain interested but it's damn good. Dark, grim and quite slow but really grips you.

I'm into season 4 and I love it. Don't want it to end.

One and a half seasons into The Morning Show, will there be a single episode in this series where Jennifer Anniston doesn't look like she's going to burst into tears?

After about 6 years of going through everything on Netflix I think I've finally drained the series' out.

Guess I need to get an Amazon prime account soon.

Just started watching Justified. Yes I know I'm about 10 years late, but really liking it so far.

IMBD rates The Shawshank Redemption as the best film ever made. Apocalypse now and Alien are 52 and 54 on the list.
If that’s true , the whole site should be shut down, the employees banished into the wilderness, and their names never again spoken among the living.

It is a popular vote thing I think. Still madness of course. Nothing wrong with Shawshank of course but hardly the best film ever made.

We have also started recently. We use it as filler between other stuff. Decent but not much more. Nearing the end of season 3 and still OK enough to keep watching.

Last episode of Blue Eye Samurai tonight - what a show.

It is a popular vote.

From memory, The Dark Knight is in the top 5, (and as much as I love them, it seems a bit generous) the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy is in or near the top 10, and the new spider verse film is in the top 20.

It's not a list anyone should take too seriously.

Or seriously at all. Yet it gets trotted out as to why Shawshank is the best film ever made.

I'd simply ignore these people.

Yes indeed.

It also does Shawshank a disservice as it is a perfectly enjoyable movie, yet I doubt I'd ever watch it again, partly because the "best movie in the world ever" thing is a bit annoying.

Finished season one of the Lincoln Lawyer, decent show on Netflix.

I found out that Bosch and The Lincoln Lawyer are supposed to be related in the Connelly universe. Half brothers.

But because the rights to both series of books were sold separately, they couldnt integrate the two characters in. So Money Chandler is the Mickey Haller replacement.

In the books they have the same father and there are a number of crossovers to varying degrees (8 I think) and also some standalone Mickey Haller novels.

I'm currently watching the latest series of Slow Horses, Shetland, Murder at the End of the World and Fargo, all of which are enjoyable enough. I just finished the second series of Time which was a decent watch if not exactly uplifting.

I watched that when it first appeared on Walter Presents. I've watched a huge number of Walter shows but lost my enthusiasm in the summer; think I needed a change. They rarely seem to get mentioned on here.

Murder at the End of the World
Currently halfway through the second episode and struggling to get into this at the moment, which is annoying me as I loved the creators' last show (The OA).

Was it just me or did it seem painfully obvious that the murder was faked at the end of episode 1?

Any other Walter Presents recommendations? I’m currently watching Marnow Murders (German) which seems ok so far.
