How do you know, what he knows is legit or not? This guy Simon mullock knows a lot without knowing anything.

How is it difficult to understand? If a large portion of the budget goes on FDJ - doesn’t leave much for anyone else. If a sizeable chunk of the budget goes on Antony, we won’t have enough for FDJ.
Not that hard to figure out
I seriously don’t understand some of the stuff that gets posted on here. Hence the sarcy responses at timesYou’re very aggy aren’t you

This. Doesn't make any sense. The squad is getting gutted regardless what difference does it make if it's us that's doing it?
Bayern have taken 2, if we have to pick Antony then Arsenal may still get Martinez, Haller is going to Dortmund
This is Manchester United..Antony brief. Hopefully we get this done quickly.

This is Manchester United..
Van de Beek is the only deal in the last few years I can remember getting done within a week or two of the first serious links.
I envy that Liverpool and Chelsea for example seem to sign players within days of the first big talk of it happening, Nunez the most recent example
“First big talk of it happening”Liverpool were being linked with Nunez back in May.

This FdJ stuff is getting tiresome. Makes you wonder what's going on if we're willing to show our have so much and say we aren't signing anybody else until he's done.

ETH's full backs underlap more than they overlap. For this it's extremely important that they are good passers of the ball. Dalot suits this. I don't personally think Elanga excels at any of the things ETH would need from his full back. I don't really see him contributing much at all tbh. Could see him going on loan.
Just wish we signed Bissouma and moved on to other targets.
This differs..
I hear so much people saying Ten Hag's formation is this and that and his fullback do this and that, but Ten Hag his strenghts is that he adapts and has different nuances every year.
One year he plays with a false 9 in Tadic, the other with a target man in Haller.
One year he plays with a #10 a la Donny who is more of a goalscorer, the other with Berghuis who is more a playmaker
One year he play with a real winger at RW like Antony, the other with Ziyech who is more like a playmaker.
Blind is a whole different type of fullback than Blind
Timber is a whole different type of central defender than Matthijs de Ligt
Mazraoui is more a right full back who comes inside as an extra midfielder, but Ten Hag was also very happy with Dest who goes via the wing.
Ten Hag adapts to what kind of players he has in his team who he trusts in who have qualities he values. Then he looks for combinations of players who play well together. Mazraoui-Antony, Donny-Tadic, Schone-Frenkie, Blind-Tadic..
There is not one formula he blindly follows. He wants players who are smart, who he can trust, who have control over the ball, and who arent afraid to press forward. That can still results in many different types of players in the same positions...
I like this bit. Do you think Erisken and De Jong would be a good combination like Schone And De Jong? This differs..

How to Bissouma and De Jong relate though. It's not like they're similar players. In truth we need both of their types.
I think Frenkie and Fred (or Mejbri or Garner) with Eriksen more forward would work. Bruno would the compete with Amad for the right wing spotI like this bit. Do you think Erisken and De Jong would be a good combination like Schone And De Jong?
Not quite...
Antony:
Robin van Persie:

Considering all the talk is about getting Antony who you yourself said was a real winger, would that not suggest that ETH would want more of an underlapping rb since that is the role Mazraoui played with Antony ahead of him. If Antony plays primarily wide and our rb also overlaps they'll just be getting in each other's way and we won't have anyone covering the half space. This differs..

I think United inability to get deals done quickly is a genuine concern amongst fans and within the clubDepends how you want to define it. You just seem a bit miserable really, no offence like.

What
The Bruno disrespect is absolutely insane. Defo the weirdest development I've seen in a long while
To be fair, Bruno is clearly no right winger.

Defo not, but to be fair Nor is Amad at the moment a serious right winger ready for first team football.
No where close to being ready to step in.
Daft he in competition with Bruno as Bruno can't get a look in anywhere else in the pitch apparently, he is our best player
Amad is more a right winger than Bruno is. At any level. That said, I agree that there is no comparison in their status.
And Koundé.
