We actually need that type of character in this team. Let’s wind up the opposition and get under their skin. Him, Bruno and Casemiro will take us to atletico levels (maybe not that bad) ;)
 
Just wait until next summer when we return for Timber…that should be an epic fleecing if this saga is any indication.
 
As we have seen United are 1 player away from Elanga starting every week. So more options were needed and Antony improves the team no doubt...price is crazy but United are in a desperate position and have very few cards to play.

I fear the whole attack relies on Martial way to much but finding a CF is not easy and the same situation would happen again having to break the bank for whoever United went for.
 
Scholes the tink.thank, doesn't realize United hasn't been a real club since the good old days of David Moyes.

Martinez is indeed looking great. Malacia, to my tremendous delight also started very well, but he only cost 15 million. I'd say 50 million for Antony is a good price, not necessarily because of what he's shown so far, which is inconsistent, but he's a Brazilian international and obvioisly talented, but 99 million... Liverpool are nuts for paying it for Nunez, but this is at least as crazy.

How is a winger from the Dutch league is going to cost us more than Sancho with his English tax is beyond me, desperation comes with a cost I suppose.

I hope we face them in the Europa this season and stuff them just like last time, when Fellaini made their midfield look like little kids.

Oh well, looking forward to see him play for us and what he can do for the team.

Problem is, sometimes it can certainly put needless pressure on the player, that’s the biggest drawdown imo.
Sure hurt the likes of Maguire and Sancho, Pepe for Arsenal comes to mind.

Frenkie de Jong is my favorite active player, he is also from Ajax :wenger: i I even still like Berghuis and he went from being our captain to Ajax.

I dont like Antony because he's a cheating cnut. And because he plays for Ajax :D
 
I wasnt that excited for this, but honestly our wingers are laughably bad. Desperately need a left footed right winger.
