Ya this one will happen. Who will be the final signing is the question. A RB, striker or another midfielder ?
no...Francisco ConceicaoKudus?
saw tht mentioned as well that Ajax are looking to get Ziyech back and he is open to returning. suspect if they can get him on loan or a reasonable fee, they'll pull the trigger and then sell AntonyHis potential replacement in the squad is there now so we could see whether he's good enough and test him for a year whilst Antony is still here. We're not going to replace our best player Antony with an inexperienced player. Ajax apparently is out to get Ziyech back.
£100m is fecking insane for this lad but then again, it’s not my money

He's applying for a job as BBC journalist. Its Euros by the way
Good job it’s not your money!
Watched a lot of his highlights the last few days. A lot of skill, but looks lightweight and the end product is questionable. He may be a very frustrating player to watch.
Liverpool got Luiz Diaz for half the price and he looks a much, much better player.

Realistically, what would you say his value is when you factor in potential?I don't think he'll be going for 100 million euro's guaranteed, probably like a bonus of 10 million euro's with an initial fee between 75 - 85 million euro's.
Looks like this is going to happen, but still have no idea why he hasn't been training.

Still a mental amountFor the BBC and crossy1686;
That is £63-73M with a bonus of £8.4M.
Still a mental amount
As I said before, it’s not my money so I don’t careYeah thank God this hasn't been mentioned yet. Who the f cares our squad is in the worst shape in a very very long time we need that.
Exactly because it is I'm not convinced spunking all that's left of our budget on Antony is the best callYeah thank God this hasn't been mentioned yet. Who the f cares our squad is in the worst shape in a very very long time we need that.

It’s pretty obvious for everyone following this saga. He’s pushing for a transfer and are not happy that Ajax trying to price him out of the market. And who can blame him? We made a proper €80mill bid that got rejected.I don't think he'll be going for 100 million euro's guaranteed, probably like a bonus of 10 million euro's with an initial fee between 75 - 85 million euro's.

If it doesn't impact our ability to sign a RB and maybe a second midfielder or a striker, I couldn't care less how much Antony will cost. I'm just not sure we'll be spending endless money and can't shake the feeling after Antony for 100m, there won't be much leftWe have no idea what our budget is. Two weeks ago it looked like we have feck all. Now we are spending it left and right. I agree it's not ideal if this hampers other deals but he's the best option out there for the wing
I find it difficult, if I'm being honest. I recognise that this club is in such a bad place, all our signings seem to struggle or flop. Every player we sign is a risk, and such is Antony. He's one of the best players I've seen at Ajax in the recent years, and they've had many great players recent years. Who performed very well in Europe, for their NT's but most havent lived up to their potential or expectation. For different reasons.Realistically, what would you say his value is when you factor in potential?

It is not out of this world for Ajax to hold for more, I just don't think it is respectful at this stage to refuse to train. He has a 3 year contract, Ajax are counting on him for another year, as they've already lost a few key players. It’s pretty obvious for everyone following this saga. Feck it don't care how much we spent. If the alternative is Cody, I don't care how much Antony costs. Rather we gamble 100 mil than a sure fire flop for 40
That’s partly why it’s so annoying. We’re panic buying the players we should have bought months ago. Nobody on this forum needed reminding that McFred aren’t up to it but apparently the club did.Maybe we'd not have been willing to spend so much had we beat Brighton or Brentford

I don't disagree. I just don't buy into the fact that Rashford being underwhelming in a struggling Manchester Utd team, in the premier league where the physicality of players is above most if not all other leagues, means he would not tear apart the Eredivisie of Ligue 1.
His pace would be very difficult for teams to deal with, the defenders are a lot slower and even the keepers are just so much worse, it often seems having high shot power is enough to beat the keepers regularly, this isn't the case in the premier league.
How many goals do you think Rashford would get in the Eredivisie?
I think he'll get it, but not for the current offer and he has no right to get his dream move this summer, he has a contract.Because you are trying to deny him his dream move?
Just so annoying that we’ve waited until we’re 3-5 games into the season to do our most important business. Imagine if we’d had Casemiro and Anthony for the Brighton game.
Daniel Levy, is that you?I think he'll get it, but not for the current offer and he has no right to get his dream move this summer, he has a contract.
Ajax isn't forced or obliged to sell him this summer at all, not lawfully or morally either.
