That situation in the second half where he was played through and for some reason just waited for their keeper to come out and claim it… what is going on?
The problem is, by the time he actually gets back into full match fitness he will be injured again. Like PP6, Martial quite simply no longer has the fitness levels or the physical body to play at the top level. It’s a damn shame.

Not a CF material he pretends himself to be. That Rashford's cross was sublime. How on earth he didn't read that! Could have been just a tap in for him if he had just 10% of the brain of a real CF.
Understand if people have based their opinion on last few seasons but based on this one, no pre season and first game back, unfair criticism
Absolute nonsense. He wasn't good today but to say that's normal for him is totally incorrect. He's generally very good if and when he's fit to play (which is rare). Typically better than the rest of our attackers when he plays. It's his first start in forever and he didn't set the world alight but he still linked up the play and is far better than Rashford at CF even on his worst day. He was no worse at CF today than Rashford has been the past couple of games, yet he gets far more stick.

He has no pace or is completely out of sorts or has no match fitness. No sharpness. He has to go.

His body is broken. He doesn’t have agility anymore as it seems. It doesn’t seem he can get those back easily. Everything is wrong now.
Man comes back into the starting 11 barely days after returning from injury, no preseason whatsoever and yet Redcafe can't let an opportunity to slag him off pass. He isn't in the match today and neither Rashford, Bruno nor Antony are as good as they were as he was able to atleast not get lost in the build up like Rashford has been in our last two matches.
People still defending this guy. Was never a striker himself, looked miles off and you just know he will pull a muscle in training this week. This guy is completely shot to pieces, he runs like he thinks he will pull a hamstring, his positioning is absolutely awful due to the fact he can’t make a sprint. Him offering better link up play is frankly absurd as a way to back him.

For his first real game back I thought he was decent in comparison to some of last seasons performances. Got 60 minutes under his belt so hopefully he can build from this along with Hojlund being ready soon too.
