How long left on his deal because no one will buy him on the wages his on.

No wonder club is forced to sign stop gap after stop gap, while opponents signing young strikers. Club is doing him a huge favor waiting on him, despite changes of managers in recent years and most likely owners, very soon.

In his best years to play football (27) and still not in exact match rhythm. If he stays, then great, but he needs to be real option for his manager.

This place loves to assert with absolutely 0 evidence.

What we know is he is ‘injured’ far too often.

Aye, injured constantly with access to some of the best medical facilities and doctors money can buy. Could play the other day but 3 days later he's "injured" again.

I remember Ryan Giggs changing his whole lifestyle, stopped driving certain cars and took up yoga to resolve his niggling issues.

Martial just can't be arsed. 250k a week and he's laughing all the way to the bank. Even ETH has alluded to it being mental rather than physical.

Okay, so because I watched a world cup, I have to stay quiet about suggestions of a rapist playing for us?

I don't disagree with you, but Marcos Alonso killed a girl and injured others while driving his car drunk and he still plays so it's not entirely unlikely that Greenwood will play for us again. One could argue that one case was an accident, and the other is a lunatic knowingly raping his girlfriend, but Marcos Alonso chose to drive while he was intoxicated.

I wonder what the premier league record is for number of injuries in one season. Martial is definitely challenging.

Were you as adamant when we re-signed Ronaldo ?
I didn't hear him rape anyone. Although I did nearly get into some trouble when he signed, I was on holiday in Portugal at the time and didn't let that get in the way of me calling him a rapist. The locals weren't so keen on my thoughts.

Hopefully just a case we're picking and choosing his games and he's being left for midweek.

But all those people who kept using him as a reason to abuse Ronaldo must feel foolish now.
We'd have been in severe trouble if we hadn't brought Weigy in.
How did people use Martial to abuse Ronaldo?

What about, what about, what about. I said I'd rather a random internet poster play for us than that piece of shit, I'm not going to change my stance.

Again being idiots expecting anything different from this guy.

Sadly I fear he is injured. It would have been normal protocol to have him on the bench at least if we wanted to rest him. The league games are our most important. He would have been kept as an option if we needed a late goal.

It's frustrating for us but it's also actually sad for the player when injuries prevent them from even being able to play consecutive matches. His contract is up at the end of next season, if it carries on like this he'll have to be released.

I know it's not his fault but we can't plan next season with him in mind. He's just not someone we can rely on.

His contract ends in 24 so I'd loan him next season if anyone is willing to take him.

They were saying how Martial was the answer and everything Ronaldo wasn't.
Totally wrong really, and we're back to the reality we of the last few years, knowing we need a proper striker in there.

If M.G steps foot on the OT pitch again I simply wont watch them.

A lot of people say this sort of stuff, similar with certain take overs etc.
We'll see if it becomes a reality.

Do you have a list of crimes that you would adopt a similar rule out of interest? As over the years there's been one heck of a back catalogue from both United and other teams!

Yep, he must be beyond frustrated. I love playing ball but can barely set foot on a pitch without doing my ankle and it's really fecking shit, can only imagine what it's like when football is literally your life.

I remember a few weeks back when Lineker & Rio were talking about injuries and they both said there were only ever a handful of games in their careers where they felt 100% fit.
It seems to me that Martial is one of those who only plays when he’s 100% or very near.

This is one of these things that fans overlook.
Criticise performances relentlessly, and assume that a player being on the pitch = player in 100% fitness.

You'd imagine things have improved certainly from Lineker's days though, and even Rio was a decade ago now.

ETH has always seemed quite deluded about Martial and it fed into the fanbase last summer, so many people just pretending the previous 2 years of constant injuries didnt exist.

Don't know how much of ETH's comments are an act to build Martial's confidence and how much is a genuine delusion that there's still a football player in there somewhere.

But either way the decision just has to be taken out of his hands in the summer.

Has he? Have you had a 1-2-1 chat where he reveals his real feelings?

Even Ole would talk up a player then he'd been gone shortly after. Nothing to gain from just saying "he can't get on the pitch twice in a month, and is an utter waster" is there.

Not really.

Seems you know more than ETH.

I’m done with him now. I love his ability but he just can’t stay fit.

Nothing personal but you can’t be the main man if you’re rarely able to play.

I've said it before but I think Garnacho could do a job in there, especially in these type of games.

Bummer if he won't be ready on Barca. His skill on the ball could be useful in this exact match.
You sound like its the CL final. It's the lowest priority competition and i'm sure barca wont be taking it seriously either

It is hilarious to say Ten Hag is "deluded" about Martial isn't it.
Ten Hag will know more than any of us about Martial's issues, but there's simply nothing to be gained from blasting him in the press or something like that.
