Our best outfield player of the 2015/16 season, without a shadow of a doubt; and one of the bright spots of the previous manager's tenure. Equaled Wayne Rooney and Brian Kidd's record for most goals scored in a season by a teenager at Manchester United, despite playing out wide for a significant portion of the season:
Didn't have the best European Championship for France, despite the home team making the final - but what can we expect of him in 2016/17?
LinkKidd scored 17 goals during his debut campaign in 1967/68, when he broke into Sir Matt Busby's first team as a raw 18-year-old. He famously turned 19 on the day he netted in the European Cup final win over Benfica at Wembley.
Rooney also netted 17 times in his first season, 2004/05, starting with three goals on his debut against Fenerbahce at just 18 years and 335 days - a feat that made him the youngest player to register a Champions League hat-trick. Like Kidd, he scored on his 19th birthday, as Arsenal were defeated 2-0.
