15-20m would be good deal.

That’s championship football. How many players have been brilliant there but not in the PL? Even a handful of good performances in the PL and CL including knockouts makes him a more established player.I really disagree that he’s done more than Garner has. Garner was a key component of the Forest side that got promoted. His stock was high compared to Elanga.
10-15 from Telles+Bailly+Williams15m for Elanga
15ish for Fred
15 for Henderson
^ Conservative estimates of 45m in. If West Ham go in for McT we can probably squeeze 25-30m which takes us to 70m from sales. That would be a big help and that's before we consider Maguire and VDB.
70m helps fund Amrabat plus a lot of change. Maguire can fund a CB.
I doubt there's any fee for Telles and Baily. Was reported earlier we'd be happy just to flog them off the books.10-15 from Telles+Bailly+Williams

Garner never even broke into the first team
Don’t understand why this is even a debate. Championship or not, Garner played 4000 minutes in the season before his move to Everton. Whereas Elanga played a grand total of 700 minutes last season. Why should Everton care that Elanga once played a CL knock-out game? That’s championship football. How many players have been brilliant there but not in the PL? I think it’s important to remember that we can only get the fee other clubs are willing to pay and from other clubs where the player is willing to go.For a United level player no, for an Everton level player yes he does
City would get 15-20m for him and that’s exactly what we should be asking for.
Theres negotiations and then there's being a tit.25+5 with sell on fees. Otherwise feck off.
Lets not get low balled here.

The fee they bid it's solid for Elangas quality and status.

I know people are citing City and Southampton doing a deal for that kid but that kid hasn’t played PL football yet otherwise he’d be desperately trying to stay in the PL instead of dropping down a level. There’s also the added notion that maybe City don’t really want to part with him unless the money is right.
We on the other hand want to sell, everyone knows how good he is/can be, and he probably doesn’t want to drop down a level to get regular game time, which means the clubs who can afford him
/want him are probably teams in the bottom 5.
For us. The buyer would end up being very disappointed.
Well I don't agree. To be honest though 15-20m is about right for both. Good to see us ship deadwood to lesser teams.Don’t understand why this is even a debate. Elanga’s fee won’t be more than 15 mil including add ons. Best case we agree a sell-on clause as well.
If you're on about Trafford, he is one of the most highly rated young GKs in the country right now and City don't really want to let him go.
And look who is meant to be buying him, massive City links just like there was at Southampton when they brough a few City youth players.
Elanga has declined from his breakthrough a few seasons ago and it's obvious he is surplus to requirements, hence his fee will be lower.
I mean there's an explanation for that really.£8m-£10m is fecking laughable when you've got City kids who have never had a sniff of first team going for £19m. This is an international player at a top level. He should be £20m minimum this day and age. He's only young as well.

To be fair, Woodward put unrealistic fees on our unwanted players meaning that no one got interested in them. Then we have them a contract to protect their values, played them for 6 matches, send them in loans when we subsidized half of the wages to ultimately release them on a free. You must be a student of the woodward school of negotiation.
Even our fans haven't a clue how to sell.
Imagine settling for a "fair" fee.
I'm sorry but holding out for 25 odd mil for a player of Elangas quality is one of the most daft moves one can suggest. You must be a student of the woodward school of negotiation.

What you are offering is literally out of a Woodward playbook.
Right so Elanga is comparable to fees for Mount and Onana. Log off, you're drunk.Almost as daft as paying 60m for a guy with one year left on his contract or 50m for a goalkeeper that was free a year ago.
But I suppose they are doing a great job right? Imagine thinking that.
Lets just accept the first bid for everyone who has a passing interest in our young players. Then people turn around and ask why we don't sell as well as city or chelsea (previously).

Just like Fulham are disappointed in Pereira right?
Come on now.Imagine thinking Murtough and Arnold are doing a good job
Dearie me.
Bet you had to think of so many before Periera and say to yourself 'Nah, not this one'
Because Elanga is rubbish that’s whyHow the feck can City get £19m for a fecking goalkeeper who has never kicked a ball for their first team and spent the last 2 seasons on loan at a League One club. Yet we’re struggling to even get £10m for a Swedish international who has made multiple appearances for our first team. He also can’t be on that high a wage either so I’m not buying the usual high wage, low fee line of thought.
Actually no, most of the players we sold went on to do well in the PL, I can only really think of Lingard who didn't do well
Because Elanga is rubbish that’s why
Who said anything about “shouldn’t have let them go”I am amazed you think that. I can't think of a single one of the players who has left us and made me think that we shouldn't have let him go. From a relative success perspective, can think of Lukaku, Pereira and possibly Smalling who have achieved some degree of success. Outside of that, Dan James, Pogba, Mata, Matic, Sanchez, Lingard are all who have had less than distinguished careers. Agree that most were let go post contract expiry but still wouldn't say that players we have sold do well really.
