What kind of bias?
 
Thought he looked very likely in the little bit of time that he got. Could do with some more significant time on that showing. Not sure if that's him being quite good or the the competition in his position being quite poor though.
 
At least Elanga showed effort. Got the ball at his feet, ran the channels, put a few questions in the mind's of Villa defenders.

Showed a lot more b-s than a lot of the so-called senior players.

You may have picked the wrong night to be name checking Rashford and Greenwood. Bias my hole. Very 2022.
 
In 5 mins was better than rashfors, Bruno, Greenwood. Start him against villa in the league.
 
One of the few with pace and directness out of our attackers. Should be getting minutes for that alone.

Loved him hyping the crowd.
 
I have no idea how good he actually is, but he’s fast and works hard. Something at the moment our attack really lacks. Get him more minutes if he’s in the senior side
 
Another player that comes on in the last 10mins, takes a player on, and now is a must start according to redcafe !
 
Promising performance for 10 mins. Used his pace, which he has struggled to do in his previous appearances in the first team.
 
Got a good leap on him, hasnt he? Won quite a few aerial balls in the time he was on, which was massive regards us stopping Villa's flow. Good cameo.

Rashford certainly doesn’t have the same pace taking on players anymore. All his running is off the ball or straight into blind alleys, and as Walters says above.
 
Great little cameo from Elanga tonight, don’t want him to go on loan, I would like to see him get more chances.
 
Was one of our better players, which says it all considering he only played about 10 minutes.

I think Rashford is plenty quick. He had a couple of poor touches when through on goal that slowed him down.
 
He should start the next game. Pick players on form not reputation. But please don't give him a £200k per week 5 year contract!!!!
 
Nice little cameo, showed good energy and pace against a tired matty cash who had a hard game against rashford and Shaw.

Martial has also gotten significantly slower. Wonder if we focus on bulk too much?

Possibly. In Martial’s case he definitely got a bigger to play as a no.9 but lost all that fear factor he used to bring carrying the ball from the left — add that plus his injury niggles and you probably have the answer.
 
Looked lively and fearless. And actually succeeded in taking defenders on. Early days yet but very promising. Hope to see a lot more of him.
