The Taurean
looks like a chipmunk
Wow. Surely not.
Big what if in my opinion. Looked like he was going right to the very top. Such a shame.
I don't think Barcelona can be blamed for that, he's had many injuries. The moment he came back from his first injury he got another injury and he's been in and out since then.Weirdest case of Barcelona ruining a player who could have been? Making him a Messi at 16/17? And then as soon as he got injured basically throwing him aside.
Nailed on to go to Arsenal.Ansu is an anagram of "Anus".
Nothing to say about the potential transfer, just noticed that and felt justified in proudly sharing it with the world.
It would be a very strange move. Yeh Fati has had mutliple knee issues, but Reus is a walking medical issues encloypedia and hes had a good careerWeirdest case of Barcelona ruining a player who could have been? The original injury
Sadly, it all started to go wrong soon after.
Fati's first major injury was a freak occurrence.
In November 2020, a Real Betis defender tackled Fati, and his knee twisted awkwardly into the Camp Nou grass. A devastating injury diagnosis followed a day later: the teenager had torn his inner meniscus.
The surgery went as planned but, according to The Athletic, Barcelona messed up Fati's recovery, asking him to do two rehab sessions a day, rather than the required one.
His knee swelled up and, within two months, he was forced to go under the knife again, this time to fix the original procedure.
But that operation didn't quite work out either, and Fati ended up having a chunk of his meniscus removed altogether.
By the end of it all, Fati had had four operations in six months on the same knee. What should have been a three-month recovery turned into nearly 11.
Thanks for sharing, that's really sad for him. Hopefully he can recover in the Saudi league and come back to Europe.Apparently they can. As the story goes, he had a partial tear of his inner meniscus and was supposed to be out for a couple of months. He had surgery to fix it and after Barca he insisted he do two rehab sessions a day instead of the usual one. He ended up having set back after set back and in the end was out for 11 months with a total of six surgeries and had to have his inner meniscus removed. I read an article about it the other day. I’ll try and find the link.
Edit: Here it is:
Brighton is in Europe and he's only 20, they need depth and he'll need to learn still. Perfect impact signing.Interesting. Would love to see him there. Could revive his career. I remember when fati had or perhaps still has a £1 billion release clause.
However where would he play? Can't see him displacing mitoma
Obviously the knee injuries have taken away that little bit extra he had that made him such a special talent. Hopefully he can find his way.Interesting. Would love to see him there. Could revive his career. I remember when fati had or perhaps still has a £1 billion release clause.
However where would he play? Can't see him displacing mitoma. Can he play on the right perhaps? He will need game time whenever he goes
Fati being a squad player for depth at Brighton is a step down in his career and a waste of a loan for him Would be surprised if he would agree to such a move if that is the case.Brighton is in Europe and he's only 20, they need depth and he'll need to learn still. Perfect impact signing.
His career is on the edge of not being a career given his injuries. Squad player for a team that can actually develop him in the toughest league but with less pressure than he currently has is a better scenario. He's not in a position to be getting regular football, he needs careful management.Fati being a squad player for depth at Brighton is a step down in his career and a waste of a loan for him Would be surprised if he would agree to such a move if that is the case.
He's managed to steer clear of injuries over the last year but he's not performed anywhere close to how good he was earlier. While he still gets into good goal scoring positions, everything else about his gameplay has been rather poor with some strange decision-making. Even his finishing is not as spectacularly efficient as it used to be. Given that he's not first choice anymore and now probably even behindFerran, who has had a great preseason and started this season well, Fati looking to leave is not remotely surprising. His career trajectory has been a bit disappointing. Barca probably overused and constantly rushed him back from injury back when they were desperately poor and once they started to better manage his playing time, he unfortunately has not been good enough to break in as a starter.Fun transfer. Barca seem weirdly keen to move on from a kid who had some bad injury luck but looks brilliant when he plays.
He'll be backup up to Mitoma, can play behind a striker or even up top but he's obviously not a natural striker. He'd be quite useless on the right wing, honestly.Interesting. Would love to see him there. Could revive his career. I remember when fati had or perhaps still has a £1 billion release clause.

That’s appalling behaviour by the club. Thanks for sharing, that's really sad for him. Hopefully he can recover in the Saudi league and come back to Europe.
For the sake of his career, I hope he's come with assurances of playing time because providing depth and being an impact sub is what he was already doing at Barca and not what he needs at this stage of his career.Brighton is in Europe and he's only 20, they need depth and he'll need to learn still. with our need for attacking players another option of a player we will have completely missed exploring
Brighton is a good place for him, but a season warming the bench and being impact sub just doesn't seem ideal for a player of fati talent. His career is on the edge of not being a career given his injuries. Exactly, that is what I m thinking as well. For the sake of his career, I hope he's come with assurances of playing time because providing depth and being an impact sub is what he was already doing at Barca and not what he needs at this stage of his career.
Pervis Josué Estupiñán Tenorio? Different positions. He plays lb.Didn’t that young lad from Ecuador get injured recently so this might be a loan to cover that
Shame how much injuries derailed him.
He was a special talent.
Sarmiento? He's gone on loan to West Brom.Didn’t that young lad from Ecuador get injured recently so this might be a loan to cover that
Sorry my mistake, the lad from Paraguay. Encisco?Brighton is a good place for him, but a season warming the bench and being impact sub just doesn't seem ideal for a player of fati talent.
Perhaps fati will play behind their striker or on the right. I acknowledge they have European football, so their is plenty of games to rotate him around. So maybe they have a lot of games where he will get minutes. But, he should be starting premier league games.

I find it quite unlikely he'll do well enough for Brighton to even make this a permanent transfer. He should have stayed in Spain and gone to a team like Sevilla or anywhere he'll get guaranteed minutes. He’s not dead. Moving to Brighton means some sucker will pay 150m for him within a couple of years.
Yea he is injured for around 3-4 months but even then, he played more of an central attacking midfielder role. Fati plays more around inside the box. I believe fati had one of the most touches of any player in the opposition box last season. So, I don't see him as a direct replacement of encisco unless zerbi wants to change his own or fati game styleSorry my mistake, the lad from Paraguay. Encisco?
