Another reason why the X-Box is fecking rubbish

So why couldn't they put rechargable batteries in the controllers? That wouldn't have been at all difficult, and seems the obvious way to go unless you're planning to rip everyone off

You might! You may like to change the music track you are listening to.

I have other devices for playing music. I tried plugging my MP3 player into the Xbox. Unsuprisingly, it didn't work.

No they dont!

You don't put any batteries in the PS3 controller.

errr...how come when i was playing Pro Evo against my brother on his PS3 this weekend, he got a message that he needed to recharge? he had to plug in the cable whilst he was playing to recharge again

edit:i refer in this case off course to the built in rechargable battery rather than the standard battery pack that noodlebrain is using on his xbox

Everytime I try to play Pro Evo on mine, after the first game, it cuts out and says the disc is unreadable.

I looked at the disc, and there are several very neat, circular scratches on it. Almost as if something had damaged it whilst attempting to read it, you'd think.

Fantastic.

Anyway I'm now officially done with it. I don't understand all these X-Box fanboys. It has to be the single biggest piece of rip-off, poorly put together shite in the history of electronics.

Ill bet a brand new XBox that you moved your console from vertical to horizontal (or vise-versa) while the power was on and a game was inside... That's a no-no, silly boy everyone knows that.

I'll take that bet

Please read on through the thread and then I'll PM you the details of where to post the new Xbox (up Microsoft's arse)

X-Box 360:

Pros:
- COD4
- Less ugly than original Xbox

Cons:
- Still quite ugly
- fecked up Pro Evo
- Rubbish games which Xbox nerds pretend are good (see Halo 3, Project Gotham, stupid game where you crash into underwater city)
- Xbox nerds
- Scratches discs for no reason
- Controllers demand new batteries with baffling frequency
- Hang on, controllers that need batteries? feck off
- Xbox live costs more money, despite already paying for Broadband, the Xbox, games, controller batteries, etc. How does this justify itself exactly?
- Sounds like a six year old windows server when it boots up

PS3:

Pros:
- Not an Xbox
