Andrej Kramarić

Hes got a good agent, shame his father isn't so wise...
Bloody hell, the agent's saying all that? Leicester must be paying a whopping percentage to him.
I think most of us are agree that Chelsea are a bad choice for him in this stage of his career

But i don't think Leicester aren't a good choice either. If Leicester are going down then i don't think he'll stay there.

Chelsea still seem to have this incredible pulling power over young talent despite fecking up most of their careers.

Thats because most players have IQ of a rock and this kind of deals are always good for agents.

Leicester are going down so I don't think going to Leicester is such a wise move either. Atletico or Juve would've been a much better move but looks like he'll get lost in the world of revolving loans at Chelsea while earning Chelsea a tidy profit.

But, he is 100% correct. We have more than 20 players on loan. Most of them will never set foot in Stamford Bridge.

Kramaric could be a second Kezman for us, but not someone who'll follow in Drogba's footsteps.

Yup, of all the options this is definitely the worst.

Staying until summer would be ideal scenario for both him and Rijeka.

He would get much needed playing time, score even more, price up himself even more and Rijeka would have enough time to line up his replacement.

Don't see why he's so eager to move in January unless there's some pressure on him, but then again Rijeka is healthy club when it comes to money, don't see why would they sell their star player in the middle of the championship when they can wait for the summer?

You know why his agent wants him to go Leicester, he only makes Money everytime he moves. He wants a Remy situation, stands out at Leicester and what do you know, another move with another percentage going to him. It is a wise choice though.

But what if he's terrible there, they get relegated (likely) and he's then stuck?

Yeah, I dont see the logic either, where's the rush to sell him now instead of summer. Its a big choice and both Rijeka and him should think that over, he's a great talent and it would be a shame if he would just disapear.

True, but he's not going to start at Chelsea and at 23 you need to be regularly getting games to reach your potential. If it's out of those two, that is the better option.

True. Can't see how he ever gets a game at Chelsea. Remy doesn't even make their bench sometimes.

Leicester is a dicey proposition. Not sure where all this about Chelsea ruining careers has come from if we're talking about the present or past couple of years. De Bruyne got a loan to Werder Bremen had a great year didn't work out and was sold to Wolfsburg where he's been a star. Lukaku sat on the bench for a year and got two PL loans and was sold to Everton. Courtois went on loan for three years came back and took the Chelsea job. Thorgan Hazard was bought for 800k pounds got a loan to Zulte Waregem won Belgian player of the year and now got a loan to Borussia where they want him on a permanent basis and is now worth 8-10 million pounds. Van Ginkel got a loan to AC Milan after terrible knee injury. Most everyone at Chelsea gets loans to a league at the level that will benefit them and there aren't any young players sitting on the bench and rotting so to speak.

The argument usually, is like your examples of lukaku and de bruyne, they lost 1-2 years of development they could of got moving somewhere else, considering they were both first team players for their clubs. They have had good careers so far, but I think all of these were touted as world beaters and are now, quite good players.

No issue with that point of view. Lukaku was a byproduct of being a freak physical specimen at a young age. He has goal scoring instincts but he has some glaring weaknesses that I'm not sure can be radically altered in order to play at the highest level. De Bruyne did take a step back in development but ultimately it may have been the best thing for him. Chelsea's system certainly isn't perfect but but I think the destroying of careers is a bit overblown because it's not like Chelsea has sent all of its young prospects to Dutch league or off to the Indian league to toil in obscurity. In the last few years they've taken on prospects and loaned them out to places they would have likely gone to or been slated to go to based on their achievement and then Chelsea opts to either continue to loan the player, give the player a crack at the first team, or sell the player.

It's something that United should really do so that United can cull talent and see if a player fits or is talented enough has good chemistry and then make a loan accordingly and if a player isn't going to hack it at the main club ship then ship them off. The key is to make definitive decisions and not hang on to a player indefinitely thinking he'll become something after 5,6,7 years.

Certainly if a player comes in at 16 it isn't likely that his ceiling can be determined at 19, but I would say by age 21/22 you'll have an excellent idea as to a player's ceiling for 80-90% of the players.

It's Leicester for him, apparently.
Though Chelsea have a first-buy-clause, if Leicester go down.

He costs around 9 Mil € + bonus payments. That's a lot for someone coming from a poor league.

Happy with that, looking forward to see what he's going to do

Weird, Leicester are almost definitely going down IMO so he will have to look for a new club in 6 months anyway unless he wants to play in Championship. He'll go to Chelsea then from what I understand but why wouldn't they buy him outright?

It's just a quick and easy way for him to showcase his talents in the premier league, try to keep a club up if possible - and then move on in the summer if they do get relegated.

If they don't and they stay up, Leicester can then sell him for even more. It's a win - win situation really if they both agree it's a short term thing.

Overall though Kremaric has to do the business in England and quickly if that's their plan.

Exatly, if he helps them to win promotion he'll stay in the PL, if they'll get relegated Chelsea will get him.

I was banging on in the MOTD thread about how Leicester are the perfect team for some talented 10 to go to, since they have dangerous wingers in Schlupp (pace alone) and Mahrez (sort of a poor man's Hazard) and 2 very different strikers in Ulloa (size) and Vardy (pace, effort).

So if Kramaric can partner well with one or play a bit deeper than he apparently mostly does, this could be a great move for Leicester.

Surprised no one is discussing him. Had a great match vs Arsenal and seems to have the lot. He's going to be a bargain for someone in the summer.

I haven't seen him against Arsenal. But i have seen him in the Europa League matches in a strong group with Seville, Feyenoord and Standard Liege.

I really like him and maybe he can save Leicester with some goals. But if they are going down then yeah he'll be a bargain for a club like Everton.

I really like the look of him, strong, works hard, decent touch and a burst of speed, honestly if he performs well over the next 15 games it might be worth us helping Leicester make £6M profit on him when they go down.

I figured with the fact he hadn't scored yet that he was actually just a bit crap but yesterday was the first time I'd seen any of him.

He's comfortable on the ball, has a good touch, quick feet and good balance. Worked hard as well.
